From Goodreads:
The last thing Kaliel
told Krishani to do was go to the Lands of Men and forget her. Krishani
escapes and meets his ancestor, Tulsen. He’s clear: if Krishani doesn’t
accept that he’s a Ferryman, he’ll become what the Ferrymen fight—a
Vulture. Filled with grief, Krishani sets out on a quest to find the
Flames before the Valtanyana take them. When Krishani comes face to face
with the enemies that ravaged Avristar, he challenges them. He knows he
doesn’t have a chance, but it’s his last stand before he gives in and
becomes a Vulture.

Did you miss the sneak peek I posted for this book a while back? Check it out here.
I, personally, love this cover. I will admit that I like it more than I did book one's cover. Speaking of book one, Flame of Surrender - that book broke my heart. I am hoping for some hope in this book. Yeah, knowing Rhi - probably not. ;)
Really? Wow that's interesting. I know the silver lining is coming BUT I hate waiting.
