Celebration Character Interview with Pegan from Existence & Predestined by Abbi Glines & GIVEAWAY

YAY! It's Wednesday again and I have another Character Interview for you guys!!! Keep thinking I should be done with these little celebrations but I keep finding things to celebrate!

Like

AND I keep finding characters that I MUST interview!!!! So I just keep doing my Wednesday celebrations.  Hope I'm not boring you with it. :P

Enough rambling on my part, here's Pegan.

Hey Pagan! You know I talked to Dank at this same spot. This table seems to be special to both of you. You met here, right?

We didn’t exactly meet here but this is where I first saw him, yes.
Before we get to the questions about Dank (You know I want to talk about him), I have a few about you. I LOVE your name. Is there a story behind it?

Yes there is... but that is explained more in Ceaseless. Not sure I can say anything about it right now. Abbi may get mad at me.

Do you remember the first spirit you ever saw? How did you figure out they were a spirit?

Yes. The first spirit I remember seeing was my grandmother. I thought she had “woken up” at her funeral. That wasn’t the case at all. Leif actually helped me figure out what was happening to me back then.

You discovered that if you leave the spirits alone, they would leave you alone but have there ever been any you wanted to talk to?

Except for my grandmother not really. No, wait I take that back. When I was trying to find Dank I wanted a spirit to talk to me and answer my questions. Of course that didn’t work at all.

Now, lets talk about my favorite subject, Dank. When you first saw him, you knew he was a spirit. But what was your first impression of him? I mean he's kinda hard to ignore with all that male hotness!

Exactly. I thought “Wow he’s hot” then I reminded myself that he was also dead. But that cocky smile of his was hard to ignore.

He sings to you sometimes. What do you love about his voice?

It has a raspy quality to it that seems vulnerable even though he is supposed to be this dark scary being. He isn’t at all and his voice betrays that emotion in him that people don’t see.

Describe Dank in 5 words.

Protective, sweet, misunderstood, beautiful and fun

Describe the perfect day with Dank.

Oh this is easy. A day where he doesn’t have to go to work. We could do anything, I don’t care what. Just so he didn’t have to leave me to go take souls.

If you could have one wish, no questions asked, what would it be and why?

Immortality. I don’t want to grow old and die. I’m not scared of Death obviously but I don’t want to have to leave Dank.

Anything else you would like my readers to know?

I care about Leif. I understand him now that it is over and I can stand back and look at things. But I could never be happy with him. He is dark. Much darker than anything I’ve ever known. Also, his story isn’t over.

Randomness:

M&M or skittles? M&M
Burger or steak? Burger
Mountains or ocean? Ocean
Day or night? Day
Brown or Blue eyes? Blue ;)
Blond or brown hair? Brown
CD or iPod? iPod. Do people still own CDs?
DVD or movie theater? DVD

So, I'm really looking forward to seeing how thing go for you and Dank. I really hope you guys get your happily ever after cause BOTH of you deserve it. Thanks for talking to me today.

Thanks for having me!

  5. I've obviously already read this series, so I'm not entering the giveaway. ;-) I loved the interview. I'm glad you asked about Leif. It gave Pagan the opportunity to say that while she appreciates what he did for her, he's not the right guy for her. Thanks for sharing!

  6. Haha! Good way to set things up for Leif's story. I'm still not a big fan of Leif so I'm hoping Abbi will change my mind. Great interview with Pagan!

  7. I haven't read either of these books, so I don't know much about Dank or Pagan. But if she's anything like Ashton from The Vincent Boys, then I think she's great! I liked the interview, especially the five words in which she describes Dank. That was sweet! I think that I would love this series! Thans for the interview and the chance to win!

  8. I've never read or even heard about these books until now. I know, what rock have I been hiding under? right?!!
Is it Pegan, as it says in Rafflecopter, or Pagan, as you have in the interview?
I've always loved the name Pagan, ever since I read a book about a woman pirate that used that name as an alias aboard ship.
