Celebration Character Interview featuring Jackson from the Madly series by M. Leighton + GIVEAWAY

 

AND it's Wednesday again! YAY!

This week, I have the hottie Jackson from the Madly series.  I discovered this smokin' hawt boy from Heather and while she still believes that Jackson is hers, I am stealing the boy away.

Not sure who will win this tug-of-war but I do know it's worth the fight!!!

Yes, well, I guess you would really like to hear from the cuttie, huh.  I give you Jackson.

Book 1

So thank Jackson for talking to me today. I’m glad we’re here on the sea shore for our little chat. I love to listen to the ocean, though not a fan of being in it. Sure that makes no sense to you. What’s your favorite thing about the ocean? 

I feel strongest in the ocean. Not just in the water, but the ocean specifically. I was born to protect it, to thrive in it. All my life, I’ve trained to master it and, somewhere along the way, it became a part of me. 

You seem to be a fast swimmer. Is that normal for most mer or just you? 

Heh. All Mer can swim faster than humans, but among the Mer, I am the fastest. I always have been. 

Tell me something about you that we don’t learn about in the book? 

When I was younger, I put a big crab in Madly’s locker at school. Just as a prank. I thought she’d scream and come running to me to get it out, which I would. Then I’d be a hero and get the hero’s reward—a kiss, of course. I underestimated Madly, though. She reached right in and grabbed that thing. It caught her thumb in its claw and wouldn’t let go. She had to have 4 stitches. To this day, I never told her it was me.

Okay, your secret is safe with us. Heehee.

What about Madly, can you tell us something about her that we don’t learn in the book? 

Madly had a lisp until she was seven. She would cry about it. It embarrassed her, made her feel like less than her friends and her peers, made her feel like a disappoint to her father. *smiles* She didn’t know it was always one of my favorite things about her. 

Awww...you are so sweet.

Can you describe Madly is 5 words? 

Fierce. Loving. Capable. Brilliant. Beautiful. 

What is it about her that draws you to her? (I know you are so don’t deny it). 

There is nothing about Madly that doesn’t draw me to her. She’s everything I’m not, everything I want to be and she makes me a better person, a better man. I’ve never felt loved the way I do when I’m with Madly. Never. 

How do you spend your free time? 

Spare time? 

Book 3

Yeah, that would be my answer as well.

Describe the perfect day for me. Who would you be with and what would you do? 

I’d sneak Madly into Sea World and we’d set all the animals free. Nothing would make her happier. And nothing would make me happier than to see her like that—happy. 

Aww..... no wonder I love you Jackson.

If you could have one wish, no questions, what would it be and why? (Spoiler in this answer if you haven't read books)

For my tie with Madly to have the blessing of everyone in our culture. It would mean so much to her.
