Celebration Character Interview ~ Kaidan from Sweet Evil + GIVEAWAY

YAY it's Wednesday again!  Today I'm celebrating this:

I've been doing these character interview celebrations for over 2 months on Wednesday.  I've decided this one will be my last one for a while.  Don't worry, I still LOVE doing them but it's time for a break.

BUT one more.

I have the very HOTT and tortured Kaidan from Sweet Evil with me today.  So let's get right to him.

So thanks Kaidan for talking to me today.  Um….your dad’s not around is he?  I mean I don’t mind being here at your house and all but don’t want to …. Sorry.  Just rather not run into him.

He’s gone. I don’t invite anyone over when he’s home. No worries.

Oh good. 

Anyway, LOVE drummers.  All the boys I dated in high school were drummers.  What is it about the drums that drew you to them?

You like drummers, eh? Good to know…

Wait...what? Well you know what they say about drummers, right?  Um… never mind. 

I always thought of drummers as the silent backbone of the band, and I liked that idea.

Are you still in high school or have your graduated?

My band mates and I got a tutor for the end of our final year, and we’re all about to graduate.

I’m guessing college isn’t really in the cards with the working thing you got going, but if you could go what would you study?

I can’t believe I’m admitting this, but I’ve always been a bit fascinated by history, and how it continually repeats itself in different ways.

History, huh?  Nice.

Best thing about being a Neph?

Easy. Sensitivity to physical touch.

Yeah you do seem to like that part a lot.

Worst thing about being a Neph?

I’d rather not go there, if you don’t mind, luv. Best not to dwell on it.

Totally understand that. (Eeep! He called me luv! <3 that!)

Tell me something about you that we don’t learn about in the book?

I’ve got large feet and I love the British show Top Gear (the U.S. version of the show sucks...no offense).

Large feet??? You know what they say…maybe we shouldn’t go there.

I can SO agree with the Top Gear thing.  British version is fab!

What about Anna, can you tell us something about her that we don’t learn in the book?

She can find beauty in the mundane. And she’s got one of those infectious laughs. It’s quite adorable, really. 

Can you describe Anna is 5 words?

Uh...let’s see. Innocent, naive, selfless, gorgeous, and frustrating as hell. Sorry. That’s more than five.

Yes it is but, for you luv, I’ll let it pass.

Describe the perfect day.  Who would you be with and what would you do?

My perfect day would be one in which my father and the other demons didn’t exist. I’d do whatever I wanted, with whomever I wanted, and I wouldn’t look over my shoulder once.

  

If you could have one wish, no questions, what would it be and why?

To have them gone. Being controlled isn’t really my style.

Before you go, I have one spoilery question for you.  Promise to hide it from peeps that haven’t read the book.   The pinky scene was my very favorite in the whole book.  What went through your mind when Anna grabbed your pinky and why’d you risk kissing her again?

*clears throat*  I usually don’t answer questions like this, but I’ll say a little something. That was the worst night of my life. Maybe the kiss was a “good-bye” or “thank you.” I really don’t know. I just know I had to touch her one last time.

Hey Kai, that’s for answering that one and for talking to me.  I’m so excited to find out what happens next for you.  Really hoping that the Neph might get a better deal.  And I will admit that I’m hoping that you get to be with Anna cause I’m thinking you have some feeling for her.  I do hope she gets to see your colors one day.
