Celebrating Four Years Stuck In Books ~ 1/9/15

As we continue our celebration, we have another great giveaway for you!

Fun YA romance

International

At Coral Tree Prep in Los Angeles, who your parents are can make or break you. Case in point:

- As the son of Hollywood royalty, Derek Edwards is pretty much prince of the school--not that he deigns to acknowledge many of his loyal subjects.
- As the daughter of the new principal, Elise Benton isn't exactly on everyone's must-sit-next-to-at-lunch list.

When Elise's beautiful sister catches the eye of the prince's best friend, Elise gets to spend a lot of time with Derek, making her the envy of every girl on campus. Except she refuses to fall for any of his rare smiles and instead warms up to his enemy, the surprisingly charming social outcast Webster Grant. But in this hilarious tale of fitting in and flirting, not all snubs are undeserved, not all celebrity brats are bratty, and pride and prejudice can get in the way of true love for only so long.

  1. It doesn't really matter to me, as long as it sounds good. :)

  2. I really prefer a nice mix. I'm always watching out for new releases, but there are plenty of old titles I'm catching up on as well. Thanks!

  8. If the new release is an author or series I love ...then I'm getting that book in my hands ASAP. Otherwise it doesn't matter....Right now I'm in the middle of Devon Monk's Allie Beckstrom series, which has been our for awhile (the series is complete)--which is an advantage to reading older series--you can sit down marathon read the series (instead of having to wait a year or more between books)--and KNOW the series is complete (or close to it) BEFORE you get hooked on it. There are a couple of series I LOVE that haven't had a book out in 2 to 4 years...

  9. Unless it's a book by an author I've already read and liked, I prefer to at least wait for some time and read the reviews first.

  12. I don't have a preference! Books are books. :)

  13. Depending on the book/author, there are some I like to read right away.

  14. I am usually a "series reader", so I like to wait till a couple of the books from the series are out, and read them together.

  15. Both, I will read whatever I can whenever I can, but prefer waiting until books are at very good prices!

  16. Honestly it depends on the author and the book.

  17. it depends on the availability. But i don't really care if its new or old release as long as it's a book that's good to be read.

  18. I would love to get every new release I want but I usually wait a while after they are released. At least until the price drops a bit because in most cases (not all) it usually will.
