Val has another Spoils of BEA giveaway for you!
Book and Harlequin tote bag!
That's a SIGNED ARC of Legacy of Kings!
Imagine a time when the
gods turn a blind eye to the agony of men, when the last of the hellions
roam the plains and evil stirs beyond the edges of the map. A time when
cities burn, and in their ashes, empires rise.
Alexander, Macedonia’s sixteen-year-old heir, is on the brink of discovering his fated role in conquering the known world but finds himself drawn to newcomer Katerina, who must navigate the dark secrets of court life while hiding her own mission: kill the Queen. But Kat’s first love, Jacob, will go to unthinkable lengths to win her, even if it means competing for her heart with Hephaestion, a murderer sheltered by the prince. And far across the sea, Zofia, a Persian princess and Alexander’s unmet fiancĂ©e, wants to alter her destiny by seeking the famed and deadly Spirit Eaters.
Weaving fantasy with the salacious and fascinating details of real history, New York Times bestselling author Eleanor Herman reimagines the greatest emperor the world has ever known: Alexander the Great, in the first book of the Blood of Gods and Royals series.

ReplyDeleteI'm not going to lie, I like both history and fantasy. But on a normal day I aim more towards fantasy. It has to be the right time in history for me to be interested.
ReplyDeleteBoth! For me, history and fantasy is a perfect combination. That's why Legacy of Kings is my new most anticipated read for this Fall.
ReplyDeleteHistory, but I do love fantasy too.
ReplyDeleteFantasy! Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI don't mind history, but fantasy is definitely my favorite of the two.

ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway. My first time here, and all the comments are so nice. I like history more than fantasy.
ReplyDeleteI love fantasy and historical books. I love it when they are combined. I am at the moment reading a fantasy and a historical romance.
ReplyDeleteI love both but I would prefer Fantasy! Thank you for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love both also, but historical usually wins out for me. xoxo

ReplyDeleteHistory no doubt.

ReplyDeleteMegan @ http://readingawaythedays.blogspot.co.uk
I have to go with fantasy! :D
ReplyDeleteFantasy! :) Thanks for the giveaway! (Valentina B. -on the raffle)
ReplyDeleteFantasy!
ReplyDeleteI love Fantasy but a good YA history works for me too!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely fantasy! Thanks for the giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteFantasy. (Mercedes Lackey or Piers Anthony type, not Twilight)
ReplyDeleteI say fantasy all the way!
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of both. Usually I hop back and forth from genre to genre. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteHow about a bit of fantasy mixed with History?
ReplyDeleteThat's an impossible question for me!! Truly, historical fiction and fantasy/sci-fi have always been my top two favorite genres, and throughout the 35+ years I've been reading they flip back and forth between 1st and 2nd spots. So I simply cannot choose between them! But I will say my favorite type of fantasy is historical fantasy, so... there you go ;-)
ReplyDeleteI like some historical fiction, but if I had to choose between history or fantasy I would go with fantasy every time! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteFantasy!!!
