Traitor (Book #2 in the Bridger Series)
Ashlyn never believed in fairy tales until she was in one.
They say ignorance is bliss, but not when you're on a centuries old hit list...and there's a traitor in your midst.
Ashlyn must decide what's most important: trusting the allies she has, or siding with those she thought were enemies. Ashlyn knows old friends can turn on her, and unlikely allies may be the best chance she has to piece her family back together. No matter what her choice, she could lose someone she loves.
And when you don't know who to trust, believe one thing: You can never trust a faerie.

My thoughts:
3 stars - a good read
What I really like about this series is the very different fey world it has. Changeling and halves are nothing new but the way they are put together in this series is unique. Bridgers are fresh and interesting. I love this world.
The characters are fun and interesting. I'm still in love with Liam and I'm now wondering about Ash's choices. While in the last book, I really wasn't seeing a love triangle, things have changed in this one. Reese is very much in the pictures. Not sure how I feel about that yet.
I did get frustrated with Ash. Did she not get the memo on not trusting a faerie? Seems like she needs to be repeatedly told that until she gets it. But I like her. She's strong and determined to put her family back together.
I kinda struggled to get back into the world at the beginning. It's been a while since I read book one and I would have loved things to be a little smoother bringing me back up to speed. I almost felt like there was two attempt at that and it felt forced to me.
If you read Bridger, then you will really want to pick up this fast-paced faery story. Didn't read Bridger? Well if you like the PNR world of the fey then give this series a try.
