Leif by Abbi Glines ~ Review

Source:  Purchased

Summary from Goodreads:

"She was mine. I owned her soul…until Death stole her heart."

LEIF is a novella from the Existence series. It is glimpses into Leif's point-of-view during both Existence and Predestined.

My Thoughts:

3 stars- A great addition to the Existence & Predestined books

This book was very different than what I was expecting. It was mostly some extra chapters to Existence & Predestined from Leif's point of view.  I loved seeing things from his viewpoint but I had a hard time following the story from Existence and Predestined from memory.

There was a new addition and I'm interesting to see if this new character shows up in book 3 of the Existence series.  We meet Sabine.  She has a big problem and she's hoping that Leif can help her out with it.  I was disappointed that we didn't learn too much about her before this novella ended.  Her story was certainly not resolved.  But she does manage to earn Leif's compassion which could be interesting.

Anyone who has read and enjoyed the Existence series will like reading things from Leif's POV but you might want to read this one right after you have read those two books.  And don't attempt this story unless you have read those two book.

  1. I haven't read any of the Existence series, but I love extra POV's so I would definitely pick this up to go along with them. Fab review chick!!

  2. Oh, I have this and still need to read it. I really like Leif (I know), and hope I enjoy it. Nice review!

  3. I have this one to read. I wasn't a Leif fan until Predestined. Looking forward to reading this one. Thanks for the review!

  4. Leif is getting his own book (or trilogy) so that may be why the stuff with Sabine wasn't resolved. :)
