When 15-year-old Carolyn moves from New Jersey to Alabama with her mother, she rattles the status quo of the junior class at Adams High School. A good student and natural athlete, she’s immediately welcomed by the school’s cliques. She’s even nominated to the homecoming court and begins dating a senior, Shane, whose on again/off again girlfriend Brooke becomes Carolyn’s bitter romantic rival. When a video of Carolyn and Shane making out is sent to everyone, Carolyn goes from golden girl to slut, as Brooke and her best friend Gemma try to restore their popularity. Gossip and bullying hound Carolyn, who becomes increasingly private and isolated. When Shane and Brooke—now back together—confront Carolyn in the student parking lot, injuring her, it’s the last attack she can take.

Yes, I was ruthlessly bullied in grade school, somewhat in high school and still don't do well with aggressive personalities.
ReplyDeleteOf course. Everyone has- it is apart of what being a human is all about. And if your gonna ask or propose we get rid of bullying, well the only way to do that is to kill all humans. For reals, that's how you do it. Everyone has been bullied and everyone has bullied others- you say otherwise you are in denial.
ReplyDeleteMaybe by my older sister.
ReplyDeletenope I have not

I was never bullied in school, but in other aspects of my life, I think so. No one should undermine another person. I'm sorry if I ever did it to someone, and I hope whoever deals with bullying finds it in themselves to become a stronger person.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger yes. I was far from a popular kid.
ReplyDeleteYes, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteYes but it wasn't overly severe, just a group of idiots in the minority who thought it cool to make fun of others.
ReplyDeleteI have - not severely or anything though.

ReplyDeleteYes, kind of. Not in school so much but by the neighborhood kids. One of the girls that bullied me actually married my brother. We get along now, we were in each other's weddings. I was also bullied by that particular brother. He treated me horribly and I still have issues today because of it. But, they both had a hand in my husband and I getting together. That is definately a good thing.
