ReplyDeleteWe always have a traditional German dinner for Christmas. My grandmother used to cook it, as she got older my dad cooked with her. Now he cooks it alone, but I think next year, my daughter will be co-cooking to keep the unwritten recipes in the family
ReplyDeleteWe don't really have any holiday traditions... Either the holiday has us in temple for more hours then I'd like, or its filled with food and we overindulge.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday tradition the last few years has been doing the Polar Bear at Gaylord Palm's ICE! They said they couldn't find a date that worked. BUT... they cancelled it this year... sigh... I hope they do it next year! So...I will mention another favorite. Watching the Doctor Who Christmas special on Christmas Day!

My favorite holiday tradition is probably Christmas jammies. Every year on Christmas Eve I get a pair of jammies from my Nana and my aunt so that I can wear them that night and Christmas night.

ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays! We usually cook a lot of foods and dine and bond together with the family. During Christmas, there are a lot of children wishing for their godfathers/mothers to give them presents. Children usually prefer money than gifts! And during New Year's Eve, we are partying, singing our hearts in karaoke, fireworks, and welcoming another year ahead of us. :)
