After a little more than 3 years blogging, I'm very excited to announce that StuckInBooks has gone over 1,000,000 page views!
I'm going to celebrate in the best possible way!
GIVEAWAYS
I have been collecting SIGNED copies of books to use as part of this celebration. Some I have bought and some have been kindly donated by the author. Each day, I will feature a book and offer a giveaway for it. Wanta see what I've got? See anything you'd like to win?
Today I have this!
Jake Reese thinks he’s just a screwed-up high school kid living in a small town isolated in the Arizona desert. Traumatized at an early age by his mother’s sudden death—and believing he might have had something to do with it—he’s allowed his guilt and lack of self-confidence to rule his life.
Hailey is the fiery little redhead that sees Jake as more than just a good friend. When she invites him as her date to a school function, it brings down the walls he's built to protect his heart, and sets off a series of events that threaten not only Jake’s life, but that of everyone around him.
The discovery of a portal on the outskirts of town brings Jake face-to-face with death and reveals a closely guarded secret about his mother. No longer is his memory of her the only thing that haunts him. Something evil from her past has escaped through the portal, and nothing will prevent it from trying to steal Jake’s future.
Can Jake overcome his fears to keep Hailey safe? Will the decisions he's forced to make destroy everyone he knows and loves?
And ultimately...is he strong enough to live with those choices?

Special thanks to the author of donating these books.
It depends. I think I tend to read female POV more often so male POV is more refreshing but I also like dual :) Congrats on the page views!
ReplyDeleteI don't mind either as long as it's well written but what i enjoy the most is when we get a bonus or free novella etc that show the other point of view from some important scene like ilona andrews did wioth the Curran point of view it was a real treat
ReplyDeleteMale or female POV? I like either - no preference. Also like it when they alternate. Congratulations on 100 00 000 page views!
ReplyDeleteI prefer female POV to male but I like reading with dual POV so I know what's one everyone's mind and heart. Thank you for the giveaway :)
ReplyDeleteI enjoy both male and female POVs, but with the huge amount of YA books with female narrators being written now, I think I enjoy reading books with male POVs just because I need variety. Thanks for the giveaways and congrats on your 1,000,000 views, that's amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteBoth! Most books I read are female POV, but I always get excited to read a well done male voice!
ReplyDeletei usually read female pov, but my favorite are male pov <3 are more exciting to read :)
ReplyDeleteI guess i like male best but i like either, only like male because i think it is better, but i like either thanks for the giveaway
ReplyDeletefemale usually but getting in a males head is fun!
ReplyDeleteActually, I like either one. As long as the story isn't slow, I can read just about anything
ReplyDeleteI love reading both POV's
ReplyDeleteI have no preference, I like both :D
ReplyDeleteI usually prefer to read a book from a female's perspective just because it is usually easier to make a connection and get into the book. But there have been a few books that are from the guy's perspective and are amazing.:)
ReplyDeleteI have no preference's as long as I enjoy the book
ReplyDeleteI like reading both, but favor the female POV.
ReplyDeletei like both, but i prefere the female one!
ReplyDeletethanks for the giveaway
I like both!
ReplyDeleteI have no preference, although I've mostly read female povs
ReplyDeleteI'm happy with either.
ReplyDeleteI like to read in both POV's. With a girl's, I can relate, and with a boy's, it's like a fresh perspective on things :)
ReplyDeleteIt depends on how good job the author has done. But considering I've read awesome male POVs and POVs of whiny females, I'll say male :)
ReplyDeleteit depends- I usually prefer a girl's point of view because I am more used to it, but sometimes a man's point of view can bring more emotion
ReplyDeleteI prefer dual POV's, but if I could only pick one, it would be the male POV :)
ReplyDeleteI like male POV!
ReplyDeleteI like both, but prefer the female POV slightly more, because I'm female too and find it less distracting.
ReplyDeleteI Like both

ReplyDeleteI like both because they tell you their side of the story and I think it's pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteI like to read from both POVs!
ReplyDeleteI love reading from both POVs but I'd say that I like reading from female POV the best since I'm one after all. :)
ReplyDeleteI love both as long as I can feel what they feel. But if I really had to pick female since that is what I am.
ReplyDeleteIt depends on the writing style, but nowadays I want to read POVs of guys because girls can be whiny and they turn out really annoying to me.
ReplyDeleteI like both. :D
ReplyDeleteI liek them both. But I read more female POVs.
ReplyDeleteIf it's well written then I like to read dual POV.
ReplyDeleteIf it's well written, it doesn't really matter to me. I've liked books from both male and female POV and I've disliked books from both male and female POV.
