Unremembered (Unremembered, #1) by Jessica Brody
When Freedom Airlines flight 121 went down over the Pacific Ocean, no one ever expected to find survivors. Which is why the sixteen-year-old girl discovered floating among the wreckage—alive—is making headlines across the globe.
Even more strange is that her body is miraculously unharmed and she has no memories of boarding the plane. She has no memories of her life before the crash. She has no memories period. No one knows how she survived. No one knows why she wasn’t on the passenger manifest. And no one can explain why her DNA and fingerprints can’t be found in a single database in the world.
Crippled by a world she doesn’t know, plagued by abilities she doesn’t understand, and haunted by a looming threat she can’t remember, Seraphina struggles to piece together her forgotten past and discover who she really is. But with every clue only comes more questions. And she’s running out of time to answer them.
Her only hope is a strangely alluring boy who claims to know her from before the crash. Who claims they were in love. But can she really trust him? And will he be able to protect her from the people who have been making her forget?
From popular young adult author Jessica Brody comes a compelling and suspenseful new sci-fi series, set in a world where science knows no boundaries, memories are manipulated, and true love can never be forgotten.

I met this author at a signing and purchased these books for this giveaway.
INTERNATIONAL
Signed hardback copies
1 winner gets both books
I like signed copies of books but I like unsigned copies too. Honestly, it's not a matter of what I like more because it comes down to the fact that they are both books and I love books - signed or not. Signed books are a little bit more special since the author touched it (like omgomgomg - and I adore authors xD).
ReplyDeleteand yay for hardback copies!! :D
Signed copies are held by the author that created the story, so it means more to own them. Also, the dedication/ signature/ name gives more sentimental value to it.
ReplyDeleteI like signed copies of these books. Since I live across the globe and the chances of meeting them in person are at the size of a cell, I am glad for the chance to see the books in hand or participate in giveaways!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much! :)
I like signed copies of books, but it isn't that big of a deal for me. I do like it when an author does something special, like Maggie Stiefvater, who will draw a wolf in your book of you make her something.
ReplyDeleteI like both but I do put my signed copies in a special place of honor on the shelf :)
ReplyDeleteI do like signed copies more because they feel more special! I don't own many though, since there's not that many book signings in my city :(
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaways and congratulations! :)
I've never actually received a signed copy but I think I would definitely like signed copies :) Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteFor reading, I prefer either. But when it comes to my personal library, signed copies are precious jewels to me, since I live in India where mostly YA authors don't make an appearance. There is no way to meet them but having a book signed by them would be satisfactory enough.
ReplyDeleteI collect the signed copies. I mostly read ebooks.
ReplyDeleteI am entering your giveaway.
ReplyDeleteIt would be great to win signed hardback copies of
Unremembered and Unforgotten by Jessica Brody.
In response to your question of
Do you like signed copies of books more than not signed?
I like having signed copies of books because then i know the author actually touched the book and it feels more special.
Thank you for having this giveaway!!!!!!!!!!!
Entering :) to win Unremembered and Unforgotten by Jessica Brody. :)
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't really matter if they're signed or not, as long as I get to read them.
ReplyDeleteI get a kick out of autographed books, but at the end of the day, I'm just happy to have something to read!
ReplyDeleteSigned books are special to me C:
ReplyDeleteI love seeing them on my shelf and telling people how an author took time out of her day to sign and ship a book to me/ won a signed book from a blogger!
In the small town I live in it's really hard to get books signed so when I show people that mine are it's like the apocalypse started C: It's such a great feeling!
It doesn't really matter to me one way or another if the book is signed or not signed.
ReplyDeletei like both, but if its signed i show it to my friends!
ReplyDeletethanks!
I love both.. It doesnt matter though as long as I own it :) but the fact it is a signed is effin awesome! :D
ReplyDeleteI do love signed books but a book is a book and I LOVE books!
ReplyDeleteOh, I like signed books but whether they're signed or not, well, THEY'RE BOOKS! LOVE BOOKS! XD
ReplyDeleteI prefer a sighned book the reason is they become special to me, i won't ever part with them that's not to say i won't read a non sighned book or anything, but for me i just started collecting sighned books i have a few not to many and i now no how i love them, and i will never part with them it's just special to me. if they are not sighned alot of the time i don't keep em after i read em somtimes i do, just depends so that is why i like the sighned ones too, a reason to not give em up!! thanks for the giveaway
ReplyDeleteI love a signed copy, but it is not the sign what makes that book special, it is de dedication and time that the author invested in that signing, even if it is only a doodle.
ReplyDeleteI love signed copies because the book just feels all the more special to me if the author signs it personally :)
ReplyDeleteOf course I like signed copies better! They feel more personal and special.
ReplyDeleteSigned books tend to find their way onto my keeper shelf more than unsigned.
ReplyDeleteThey feel more special and personal :) the author themselves have handled the book
ReplyDeleteI can't say I prefer signed over non but they add an extra special touch. I cherish each and every one of my signed books that I am lucky enough to have in my possession! But I also love having a paperback copy of books I love even if I just buy them from Amazon or BAM or Target or whatever. Or sometimes their is a book with an amazing cover that I just have to have on my shelf.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I love winning a physical copy of a book as opposed to an ebook, I do rather like signed copies. I don't know that I can say I like them more, rather I like them in a different way. And especially when they are personalized. It makes them more special to me that an author took the time to do that for me. I remember one time I won a giveaway for a signed book and a vinyl promo poster with the book cover design on it. When the author contacted me she asked if I would like her to sign the poster as well because, after all, it was mine now and if I wanted it signed too, she was glad to do it. I thought that was amazing. So yeah, I asked her to sign it. :)
ReplyDeleteI love signed books because they feel precious than not signed. A person can show off that he owns a signed copy of the book. :D
ReplyDeleteI really treasure my sign copies.
ReplyDeleteOne reason is that they are hard to get, with me living in a small foreign country. Also, the ones I have came directly from the authors, some that I really appreciate. It feels good to know that they had that book in their hands and they are handing it to me ;)
I just met Jessica! She is so sweet, and really intelligent too! I got a signed copy of this book, and her sequel, and can't wait to read them both!!!
ReplyDeleteIn all honesty it doesn't matter. To me personally, their finished book is enough of a "signature". It's their hard work and dedication.
ReplyDeleteI'm fine with both, it's just that signed copies feel more special to me. And the ones with a dedication? Yes. Those are the kind I'd keep as long as I can.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the chance. I love both, but signed copies have a very special place on my bookshelf!
ReplyDeleteI love signed. They somehow mean more than a normal book to me. It`s like meeting the author too. :)
ReplyDeleteI like signed copies because they feel more special to me, more personal
ReplyDeleteI love signed books, they're feel special due to the personal touch.
ReplyDeleteThese books look great. I love signed copies not just for myself, but for my students. They know signed copies are something special.
ReplyDeleteOf course! It's always great to have a signed copy-- makes the book even more special than it already is :-)
ReplyDeleteNot really, but it would make owning the book more awesome if they were signed!
ReplyDeleteI like winning signed copies because I can proudly place them on my shelf and feel lucky among my friends as I have a signed copy. Most of these authors never visit England, the only way I can get my hands on a signed copy is through these awesome giveaways
ReplyDeleteI'm okay with both, although signed copies are the ones I treasure most.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter to me, actually. As long as I get a physical copy of a book I like, I'm good. Thought it would be totally awesome to have signed books, especially from international authors :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I prefer them signed, those are my babies :)
ReplyDeleteI have a small collection of signed books and love them! They are special to me. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWell I like getting my books personally signed if the author is available to sign them :)
ReplyDeleteI love signed copies especially if it's personalized, because they are more special.
ReplyDeleteI prefer signed copies because the being personalized to me. Plus, I love checking out the authors signatures! Some just have the prettiest handwriting! haha :)
ReplyDeleteI like signed copies because you can't find them everywhere unlike the normal book. Thank you for the chance to win them :)
ReplyDeleteDon't own any signed books.
ReplyDeleteSigned copies are my favorite. If I had my way, all my books would be signed, and also hardback :-) Thanks for this awesome giveaway!
ReplyDeletei like the two types but i think that when it is a signed copy is a little more personal :)
ReplyDeleteI like both, but if i have a choice i love love to get authagraphed books they become somthing nice to keep and cherish forever and i have a few now and want more.... thank you so much
ReplyDeleteLove, love signed copies. Mean so much to me.
ReplyDeletei love signed copies its looks and feels really special to me :)
ReplyDeleteDo you like signed copies of books more than not signed? Why?
ReplyDeleteI liked signed copies cause they seem more special..
It depends on the book. If it is a book I want to add to my library, I enjoy the personalization of a signed book. Otherwise, If it is signed to me and I want to give it away it makes it awkward to do.
ReplyDeleteThey are awesome! Feel like I'm getting more from the author that way lol
ReplyDeleteIt depends. I liked signed copies but I have to be more careful when reading them. I would hate for it to get beat up.
ReplyDeleteI like to have signed copies, but I would rather read an unsigned copy so that I don't get smudges or anything on it.
ReplyDeleteI don't really prefer one over the other, though I love having signed copies because it makes the book more special to me.
ReplyDeleteI like signed books. I love owning any actual books, but money-wise and space-wise, I can't have as many as I'd like. So I limit books to favorite authors and signed copies and e-read everything else.
ReplyDeleteI think both versions are great! If i know and love a particular author I prefer signed copies, but if not then i prefer that i receive a book unopened. Signed copies tend to have bent covers so I would almost rather an unsigned copy. Different with hardcovers though. Then it makes no difference to me.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore signed copies!!!
ReplyDeleteSigned copies FTW!!! I have bragging rights and it makes me feel very special!
ReplyDeleteSigned copies! Makes me feel closer to the author.
ReplyDeleteI love a signed copy, it makes the book very special. But it also usually makes me not want to read them and keep them neat...
ReplyDeleteI like signed copies and especially when you can get them to do something special like a quote or just something extra! It just makes it mine and personal!!!
ReplyDeleteI love signed copies! It feels like the author dedicated the book to you somehow! :)
ReplyDeleteI love signed copies! It feels like the author dedicated the book to you somehow! :)
ReplyDeleteJust to have a copy of the book is good enough, but when it's signed my fangirl mode kicks on and I'm like, omg, I'm touching something the author touched. sparks fly XD
ReplyDeleteI love ALL the books!!! :) But signed do have a special place 'cause I live ouside US and none of the authors I love ever come here.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a giveaway! :)
yes! because when I love an author it makes me happy that he/she dedicated it to me
ReplyDeleteI'm good with just having a copy of the book, but having it signed does make it better and more special!
ReplyDeleteI do an I don't. When ever I have a signed book a lot of people want to see (I bring a book with me everyday to school) and it gets all dirty and bent
ReplyDeleteSigned copies of books feel so special! I definitely love owning them:)
ReplyDeleteI like signed books, of course, but I wouldn't say I like unsigned books less. I like the fact that a book is signed, but it doesn't change my opinion of the book itself :)
