In the new series by Tiffany King, the USA Today bestselling author of the Woodfalls Girls novels, six friends—fresh from high school graduation—discover that the future can come at you from out of nowhere.

This is Mackenzie’s story…

Mackenzie Wilson once had hope for what life had to offer, but everything changed on the night of her graduation. A year later, the only way she can find comfort is by keeping her head down and hoping she remains unnoticed at college.

When Bentley James discovered Mac in that twisted SUV, he was just a newbie EMT on his first call. It was a gut-wrenching moment that made him realize not everyone can be saved—and sometimes they don’t want to be.

A chance encounter on campus brings Bentley back into Mac’s life. Despite her initial resistance, he sets out to discover the girl hiding beneath a shield of seclusion. He evokes painful memories in Mac—but also feelings. As the spark between them grows, Mac must decide if she can let go of the past and believe in something as fragile as love…

Teaser...

"Bentley, please," I found myself pleading.
"Please what?"  He teased my chin with the softness of his lips.  The touch was foreign and erotic in a way that made me tremble from head to toe.
"Kiss me," I uttered with another spasm of desire shaking me.  The intense response of my body was intoxicating.  I wondered if he felt eh same, or was I just like any other girl he had been with? (Page 142-143)

This was my Apollycon read.  I read it on the plane there (and finished it when we got stuck there).  So good.  Gonna have to wait for the review because it doesn't release until May but you will WANT this one.

Turtle Bay

This one releases later this month (Goodreads says March 20th!) and I've been reading it when I'm supposed to be reading other things... #SorryNotSorry. It's sweet and cute and I'm enjoying it! There isn't much info yet (I'm going off GR here, because...well. Because.) but I'm giving a teaser anyway because, as I said, I am quite enjoying this book that makes me feel happy. :)

Teaser...

"Hey, what are you doing?" he ashed, shocked to see the door fly open. The rain was coming down at an angle and swept into the cab of the truck, giving me a moment of satisfaction.
"I'd rather take my chances in a typhoon than ride with you," I said, making a move to get out.
His hand reached out and closed around my wrist. "Stay," he insisted, releasing my wrist almost as quickly as he had grabbed it.
It was one word, but it was significant.

Just thinking about this book right now makes me smile. Josh and Rain are wonderful and I really, really heart Tiffany King. Keep your eye out for this one, y'all!

Those are our teasers for this week! What do you think? Do you have a teaser to share? Leave us a comment!

  1. Both of these look good. I am guessing he does feel the same and that she does stay.
