Apollycon was the best.  I had a great time seeing friends and making new ones.  The only issue was the getting home part.  My flight was cancelled for mechanical problems and then I got caught in weather.  I was supposed to come home Sunday but didn't get here till Tuesday.  Needless to say, I was a little STRESSED.  School was starting the new online state testing Monday and I wasn't there for tech support.  Kinda made me crazy.  Luckily, there are some great people where I work and they made it work.

Yesterday, I was lucky enough to attend Austin Book Fest! The event was fun and amazing and Vilma absolutely rocks for organizing it. I spent the day as assistant to Rachel Harris (I love her), but I also got to see Jennifer L. Armentrout and got my hands on a certain little pretty, too...

I'm going to spend today staring at it and petting it and then it's getting sent on its merry way over to the ever-lovely Val, who will read this book and enjoy it and get her fair share of petting time in because this book. AHHH.

But aside from Fall with Me excitement, I had a blast yesterday! I honestly cannot stop gushing. I spent time with Rachel Harris and Katie McGarry (two of the best people on the planet, y'all. THE. BEST.), and I got to see Monica Murphy and Shelly Crane and Chelsea Fine and OHMYGOSH IT WAS ALL SO FUN. Here are a couple of my pictures! (More can be found on my instagram.)
