Swoon Thursday ~ 10/25/18

Who doesn't LOVE a good swoon?!  We love them for sure!  Check out our swoon below and then add to the fun.

Post anything that made you swoon, past or present read.  Include the cover, blurb and links.  Please no spoilers.

Faking it never felt so good in this red-hot new standalone by New York Times bestselling author K. Bromberg — available in audio first!

Zane Phillips mistook me for his dog walker. It shouldn’t surprise me that the man with a suit more expensive than my rent would assume that I was there to serve him. The positive? I put him in his place. The negative? I missed my job interview because of it.

Now I find out he’s a rich Australian entrepreneur, and he wants to make up for tanking my interview. Yes, he’s impossibly hot — but he’s also an arrogant jackass — so... no thanks.

But after a little white lie I tell spirals out of control, I’m somehow offered the chance to play Zane’s girlfriend to help promote his new dating website — and the best part? He can’t say no because he’ll get caught in his lie too.

Little did I know this would entail sharing a tour bus with him for the next few months. The fact that the bus has just one bed isn’t the most ideal of circumstances, but this spokesperson gig might be the kick in the pants my career needs, so why not take a chance?

Famous last words.

Now I’m crisscrossing the country — and sharing that bed — with the one guy I can’t stand. And even worse, my traitorous body is wondering at every turn what it’s like to be down underthe gorgeous Australian. But as the miles unfurl, so does our passion… and if I’m not careful, I might end up believing that fairytales really do come true.

"...because all I could think about was kissing you.  Don't you get that?  All I wanted was to have you again."  (Transcribed from chapter 29.  The errors are mine and not the authors.)

I'm really loving this book!  It may be the best fake relationship story I've ever read.

Chosen (Chosen, #1)One minute Lily is trying, and failing, to run her grandmother’s farm—her last remaining connection to her family. The next, she wakes to find herself in a cold, sterile cage surrounded by monsters, with no memory of how she got there. Accidentally abducted by alien poachers, unsure if she will live or die, she is dreading the worst. What she doesn’t expect is for her captors to dump her on an alien planet to fend for herself. Now, she must fight to survive the planet… or die trying.

Frrar, Tor, and Arruk have been searching endlessly for a mate to belong to, someone to finally accept them, but they are losing hope. The time of cleansing, when the great waters drown the land, draws near. They are on the verge of abandoning their search and fleeing the forest when they spot a strange, tiny, two-armed female. They are immediately drawn to her, fascinated by her differences, but they must act fast to save her life, and their own, from the coming flood.

When she finally pulled away with a last suck on his lower lip, and he saw the hungry look on her face, he had felt like his blood was on fire. But when he said her name, she had made that tinkling sound of happiness he only ever heard from her and smiled at him as if he had given her a gift instead of the other way around, he knew right then that his heart was hers completely, until the day he breathed his last.

I loved this book! Definitely one of my favorite RHs. A smart heroine + sweet alien guys? Yes, please. I'm reading book 2 now!
