An unforgettable new series from acclaimed author Katie McGarry about taking risks, opening your heart and ending up in a place you never imagined possible.

Seventeen-year-old Emily likes her life the way it is: doting parents, good friends, good school in a safe neighborhood. Sure, she's curious about her biological father—the one who chose life in a motorcycle club, the Reign of Terror, over being a parent—but that doesn't mean she wants to be a part of his world. But when a reluctant visit turns to an extended summer vacation among relatives she never knew she had, one thing becomes clear: nothing is what it seems. Not the club, not her secret-keeping father and not Oz, a guy with suck-me-in blue eyes who can help her understand them both.

Oz wants one thing: to join the Reign of Terror. They're the good guys. They protect people. They're…family. And while Emily—the gorgeous and sheltered daughter of the club's most respected member—is in town, he's gonna prove it to her. So when her father asks him to keep her safe from a rival club with a score to settle, Oz knows it's his shot at his dream. What he doesn't count on is that Emily just might turn that dream upside down.

No one wants them to be together. But sometimes the right person is the one you least expect, and the road you fear the most is the one that leads you home.

 Teaser...

Oz slowly grazes his knuckles against my check.  His skin is the perfect combination of rough and soft and I lean into his touch like a cat begging to be loved.

I inhale and I'm greeted by his dark scent that reminds me of wood burning and open flames.  It's an addictive aroma.  One that calms me.  One that encourages me to erase the gap between us.  One that causes me to forget why I'm here and who he is.  (Page 215-216)
Loving this one! Review coming.

The Night We Said YesA fun, romantic read, perfect for fans of Sarah Dessen and Susane Colasanti!

Before Matt, Ella had a plan. Get over a no-good ex-boyfriend. Graduate from high school without any more distractions. Move away from Orlando, Florida, where she’s lived her entire life.

But Matt—the cute, shy, bespectacled bass player who just moved to town—was never part of that plan.

And neither was attending a party that was crashed by the cops just minutes after they arrived. Or spending an entire night saying “yes” to every crazy, fun thing they could think of.

Then Matt abruptly left town, and he broke not only Ella’s heart but those of their best friends, too. So when he shows up a year later with a plan of his own—to relive the night that brought them together—Ella isn’t sure whether Matt’s worth a second chance. Or if re-creating the past can help them create a different future.

In alternating then and now chapters, debut author Lauren Gibaldi crafts a charming, romantic story of first loves, lifelong friendships, uncovered secrets, and, ultimately, finding out how to be brave.

*Available June 16th*

And then I saw his face, with his dark brown messy hair and black-rimmed glasses. He was tall, taller than me, and his face lit up when our eyes met. Okay, Meg was right, he was cute.
"Matt, this is Ella. El, Matt."
"Hey," he said, smiling. It was a cute smile, crooked and shy.
"Hi," I said back, officially excited to start the night.

I'm a super fickle mood reader and currently have no idea what I'm in the mood for. I just finished the first BDB book, so I figured I should try for contemporary next. And then I thought THIS pretty book would be perfect to kick off my summer with. So I'm giving it a go. I'm 60 pages in right now and really enjoying it. It has a dual timeline, both of which are very parallel, which I think is cool. And I think I'm already a fan of Matt. He seems so real. And awkward. Being an extremely awkward human myself, I can relate. SO YEAH. This book is turning out to be right up my alley, and I have high hopes for the rest. YAY! :)

Those are our teasers for this week! What do you think? Do you have a teaser to share? Leave us a comment!
