Synopsis
The much anticipated second book in the enthralling Black City series
Engaged to be married, Ash and Natalie are just starting to build a life together, when things in the United Sentry States go from bad to worse. Ash and Natalie find themselves at the center of the turmoil when dictator Purian Rose threatens Natalie’s life unless Ash votes in favor of Rose’s law—a law that will send Darklings and other dissenters to a deadly concentration camp known as the Tenth.
Ash can’t bring himself to trade Natalie’s life for those of millions of Darklings. The only way to save everyone is to escape Black City and find the Ora, a powerful weapon that could take down Purian Rose for good. But fleeing the city and finding this weapon is easier said than done, if it even exists, and becomes a quest that could tear Ash and Natalie apart, even pushing them into the arms of others.
Fast-paced and absorbing, Phoenix is a delicious, steamy can’t-put-down read.

It looks half peaceful half fury. Makes me want to know more!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cover! This would definitely catch my eye in the book store and make me want to read about it!;)

ReplyDeleteLove that cover. I love that the feather is burning. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteGreat cover The burning feather is really cool.
ReplyDeleteThe cover is most attractive - the color choices are dramatic without being annoying. The mirrored feather is also a nice touch as it gives the viewer something else to discover.
ReplyDeleteThe cover is beautiful :)

ReplyDeleteThe cover is stunning, the feather reaches out and grabs hold of you attention. The river and city below look beautiful and peaceful. I love this cover, job well done :D
I like the second cover, but I think that I like the first one better. I haven't had a chance to read this series though, so I'm trying not to judge too much until I know the plot better :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity to win :)

ReplyDeleteI loved the cover of Black City. I still do. I think it is unique and definitely eye-catching. But I have to say that I am crazy about the cover of Phoenix. Something about it is just.... awesome. They are 2 of my favorite covers. Thanks so much for this awesome chance to win!
ReplyDeleteWhile I do like the cover of Phoenix, I must say that I love the cover of the first book in the series much better. I do love the feather and the cityskape in the background, but the coloring is a little bit off.. is it just me?! I am sure it will look stunning in print, though, the electronic picture just doesn't capture it in its whole glory! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the reveal with us sweetie~! :)
Cover definitely captures the title and the feel of the first book.
ReplyDeleteI am in LOVE with the cover! I do think I like the Black City cover a smidge better (the colouring of Phoenix is a bit sallow, though I'm sure there's a reason for that), but I can only imagine how gorgeous they'll look together on the shelf.
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous. I really love it
ReplyDeleteLove this! So pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say????? I'm so speechless by this stunning beauty. My silence can describe what I feel about the cover
