This is a short story involving Constantine from the New York Times bestselling Dark Kings series from Donna Grant.

The third - and final - short story involving Constantine, King of Dragon Kings from New York Times bestselling author Donna Grant. Fans of the Dragon King series will want to get another peek into the mysterious leader's past.

I find the insight we get into Constantine, King of Dragon Kings, in these three short novellas to be fascinating.

Each is set hundreds of years apart but they reveal a great deal about Con and the Dragon Kings.  The relationship he unknowingly builds in these stories seems critical to the direction the series is headed.  I find it interesting how flowers plays a part in such a serious of characters.  I can't really say more about who that character is without spoiling things, so I won't.  But I will say that  Con's reaction to this character is telling, and perhaps explains more about the man than anything else.

I've enjoyed this series a great deal and am always excited to dig back into it.  The world is build so well that it holds many stories.  I loved learning more about the beginning of their whiskey business and how they hide in plain sight.  I enjoyed seeing how Con has softened over the years and some of the reasons he makes the decisions he does.

All three are must reads for anyone who loves this series.
