Character Interview ~ Ezra from King Hall by Scarlett Dawn

Last year I interviewed Jack & Ezra! Squeeeeee!

Today?  I get to talk to EZRA AGAIN! Hooray!!!

Jessica: “Hi, Ezra! Welcome to Stuck in Books! Our last interview over on Bookish was so fun, and I CANNOT tell you how completely excited I am to have you here and to get to chat with you again!”

Ezra: “Thanks.” He glances out the window. “So…”

Jessica: “Some of these questions are mine and some of them aren’t, but I like them all, so YAY! Are you ready for this?”

Ezra: His green eyes pierce, and he taps his fingers on the arm of his chair. “I’m bouncing in my seat with excitement.”

Jessica: “Oh, and I heart you. Just so you know.”

Ezra: His lips tremble ever so slightly. “Yes, I believe you said that once…or twice…before.”

Jessica: “Okay, okay. First question! How did you meet your first mate and how does your love for her compare to your love for Lily?”

Ezra: Instantly, his arch brows furrow. “I have no clue who the hell Lily is…and my deceased mate is not a topic of conversation I wish to have with you.”

Jessica: “Okay…let’s try to think back to when you first met Lily. What was going through your mind then?”

Ezra: “Are you daft?”

Jessica: “I’ve always been Team Ezra.”

Ezra: His words are slow, his gaze guarded. “That’s nice.”

Jessica: “Okay, so remember when you and Lily were in Antonio’s office-”

Ezra: “I.Don’t.Know.A.Lily.”

Jessica: “I think you are wonderful.”

Ezra: His perfect nostrils flare, and he snorts softly. “And I think you’re…special.”

Jessica: “What’s it like being a dad-”

Ezra: His fingers snap suddenly, and he appears like he has solved a puzzle. “Ah! Do you think I’m Elder Zeller – my father?”

Jessica: She shakes her head sadly. “And lastly, what can you tell the awesome people reading this about King Tomb? You can be as random or as cryptic as you like. It’s more fun that way, anyway.”

Ezra: A shrug of his shoulders. “I don’t know about King Tomb, but I run the best Mystical war camp called King Shadow. Perhaps…it all starts there?”

Jessica: “Now I have to say goodbye, but I hate this part! Can I hug you? I’d freaking LOVE to hug you.”

Ezra: “No.”

Jessica: “Thank you so much for stopping by today, Ezra, and I look forward to seeing you again. Hopefully sometime soon, yeah? I like to think of us as friends. And friends see each other on a somewhat regular basis, right? But anyway, THANK YOU!!”

Ezra: “Yeah, okay.” He points toward the closed door. “Do you want me to get my father now?”

Jessica: Again, she just shakes her head sadly. “It’ll all come back one day. I’m sure it will.”
