So my book boyfriend for the week is...

Roth!

Every touch has its price

Layla Shaw is trying to pick up the pieces of her shattered life—no easy task for a seventeen-year-old who’s pretty sure things can’t get worse. Her impossibly gorgeous best friend, Zayne, is forever off-limits thanks to the mysterious powers of her soul-stealing kiss. The Warden clan that has always protected her is suddenly keeping dangerous secrets. And she can barely think about Roth, the wickedly hot demon prince who understood her in ways no one else could.

But sometimes rock bottom is only the beginning. Because suddenly Layla’s powers begin to evolve, and she’s offered a tantalizing taste of what has always been forbidden. Then, when she least expects it, Roth returns, bringing news that could change her world forever. She’s finally getting what she always wanted, but with hell literally breaking loose and the body count adding up, the price may be higher than Layla is willing to pay…

Last week, I loved all over Zayne because he's a serious sweetheart. But this week, I can't help but give Roth some attention. Because I seriously love BOTH of these guys. Choosing who I want Layla ends up with is going to be so difficult.

(No, I haven't voted yet. But if you have read Stone Cold Touch and want to vote, you can do so HERE. Voting ends November 11th, so get on that. BUT NOT BEFORE YOU READ SCT. Trust me. The decision gets harder once you've read. Don't vote without reading and then kick yourself later.)

BUT ANYWAY. Back to Roth. He deserves some love, too. So here I am telling y'all why he'd make an extremely fab book boyfriend, just like Zayne did last week. I guess I'll just start listing reasons? I mean, we know Roth is amazing and has those interesting piercings. So let's build on that.

Roth's hilarious...

Maddox hissed. "You think you're cute?"
"Nah, I think I'm sexy." The smirk spread, but it didn't touch his cool ocher eyes. "And I also think I'm hilarious."

He also has moments like these that make me happy...

Another shiver of apprehension slipped over my skin. When I started to pull back, to give voice to the near fear growing like a weed in the pit of my stomach, his arms finally--finally--encircled me. He pulled me tight against him, our bodies flush and pressed together in a way that reminded me of the night we'd found the Lesser Key. The muscles low in my stomach tightened as his hand smoothed up my spine, tangling n my hair. Bambi followed the caress, as if she sought to get closer to her true owner.
There was so much warmth in the embrace that it pushed the shadows away. I squeezed my eyes shut and soaked him up. I didn't know what his return meant, what it signified for us, but it didn't matter in that moment.

And there's this that makes me feel things...

Roth said nothing, and my lips tingled from how hard he was staring at them. He placed his hands just above my hips; the touch light and barely there. I wrapped my fingers around his wrists and started to remove his hands. "Don't," he said, voice low.

He also takes serious moments and makes them amusing...

"We're being followed."
Under the brim of his cap, Zayne's eyes dilated as he looked over his shoulder. He turned back around, picking up pace. "Two human males?"
"Yep," Roth replied, popping his lips.
I wanted to look behind me so badly, but I figured that would be a bit too obvious. "Any idea who they are?"
"Nope. Maybe they want to get your phone number," Roth replied. "Be a part of your fan club."

And...there is SO MUCH MORE about Roth that I could list here. But I can't put it all here. Which is why you should go read Stone Cold Touch! It's fabulous, y'all. As is Roth.

Val reviewed Stone Cold Touch already, which you can see by clicking on the image below:

And Val also did an interview with Roth and Zayne, which you can check out by clicking on the image below:
