Swoon Thursday ~ 6/2/16

The fabulous girls over at YA Bound created this super HOT meme.  Here's how it works.

From the book you’re currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering.

Shout it out on Twitter with the hashtag #YABound, post it here in the comments, or grab the adorable button above and share it on your blog! I want to know & so do the chicks at YABound!

Angels' Dance (Guild Hunter, 0.4) by Nalini Singh

The gentle teacher of angelic young, and the keeper of her people's histories, Jessamy is respected and admired by everyone who knows her. Yet, born unable to soar into flight, she has spent thousands of years trapped in the mountain stronghold of the Refuge, her heart encased in painful loneliness...until the arrival of Galen, warrior angel from a martial court.

Rough-edged and blunt, Galen is a weapons-master at home with violence, a stranger to the sweet words it takes to woo a woman--but he is also a man determined to claim Jessamy for his own, to dance with her through the skies denied her for so very long...even if their exhilarating passion proves as dangerous as the landscape of war and unrest that lies before them.

This novella is also available in this anthology

Swoon...

"Jessamy?"
"Hmm?"
Fisting his hand in her hair, he tilted back her head.  "I'm going to kiss you now."
As the stars flickered overhead, icy gemstones lit with cold fire, he took her mouth the way he'd wanted to from the first.  He demanded entrance and she opened for him, the softness of her his to ravage.  Mystery, that was what Jessamy tasted like.  Sweet and dark and with depths it'd take a man an immortal lifetime to explore.  Gripping her chin with his free hand, he angled her just as he liked and then he devoured her.  (page 63)

These two are sweet together.  And I do like Galen.  Strong and very male, he's protective and demanding.  An angel weapons master with the nickname barbarian, I do like Galen.

That's our swoon for this week! What do you think? Do you have a swoon to share? Leave us a comment and link us up!
