I met Jennifer in Houston at the Onyx Book Tour.  Then I got to see her at RT.  I was planning on seeing her at BEA but she was called away for a family emergency.   Before she left, she signed all the books for her fans.  I got one of those books and I wanted to tell her how much my heart aches for her right now and how much I love her for being an awesome author, my favorite author.

I stayed up late Saturday after BEA reading FRIGID and this tour was born out of that awesomeness! My Thoughts:

5 stars - Blowing my 5 star rating off the charts, this book will capture you and hold you till the last page.

I've said this before but if JLA writes it, then I will stand in line to read it.  This book was the biggest reason that I went to BEA.  I had to have it.  Spencer Hill was my first stop and I waited in line for an hour to get it.  It was so worth every cent I paid to get to NY and every minute I spend waiting for it.
  
Yep, gonna start with Kyler.  He’s a player but he only cares about Syd.  He watches out for her and protects her.  It’s pretty clear how he feels but he’s sure that she would never feel the same and that she deserves better.  I so loved the parts inside Kyler’s head.  He’s cute, really.  He tries to remember the name of the girl that just climbed in his lap but has to wait for her friend to say it.  It’s not that he doesn’t make it clear what he’s interested in – he does.  Total player.  But he has this sweet side that is really only for Sydney.  And jealous? Oh he is so jealous of any guy that even looks like he is gonna talk to Syd.  He has this whole male look thing down where he can tell whether the guy likes her or not.  Any guy that likes her is a douche and can’t be trusted because no one is good enough for his Syd.   There are so many things I want to tell you about him that are just too spoilery but can I say that I loved Christmas Eve, a few days of snowed in paradise, and a certain tattoo that hangs out on his back.  This boy is forever.

Loved Sydney too.  She loves Kyler but has hidden that from him for fear of losing their friendship.  His player ways convince her he doesn’t do relationships and she can’t risk their friendship.  But what’s so fun is that the only two people who don’t know how much these two are in love are them.  Sydney’s one serious boyfriend was a jerk and was introduced to Kyler’s fist because of it.  It’s left Sydney not dating, which makes Kyler happy.  Funny how the males and females react differently to unrequited love.  What I loved most about Sydney is her determination to keep Kyler part of her life even if she can’t have him the way she wants.  She doesn’t pout.  She moves forward and they really are great friends.

It’s interesting how the title plays out in this book.  I wish I could say more but I really liked how it was a driving force as the pages flew by.

When you start this book make sure you have the time to finish it.  There will be no putting it down.  Notice that I don’t even say if you want to read this book – it’s that good.  YOU WILL WANT to read this one.

If any book deserves more than 5 stars, it’s this one.   JLA books seem to need a different scale than other books.  Let’s start with 5 stars and go from there, k!  This book is ever bit as good at WAIT FOR YOU.  I loved the relationship better but the characters about the same.  There were no slow spots.  I was guessing about the problem causer until right before I found out.  All fabulous!
