Now Quinn's back for another New Year's Eve, struggling for closure, desperate to leave his grief in the past and make amends with the girl of his dreams.
But Lyric has a secret--one that could drive Quinn from her life forever. Will Quinn run away from the love and acceptance he's always wanted...or will he claim his New Year's kiss and make her his at midnight?
My Thoughts:

3 1/2 stars - a satisfying love story
I read this book in an evening. It's fast and kept me hooked. It's a charming story of a couple that grew up together but never got together. For Quinn, it was his twin brother that held Lyric's attention. Used to coming in second, he loved her from a far. For Lyric, she was too focused on Oliver that she never realized that she had stronger feeling for Quinn. That all is set aside for one night as they both deal with the grieve of losing Oliver. Then Quinn is gone and Lyric tries to figure out her life after. But when Quinn comes back four years later to try and find forgiveness, he discovers that the feelings he has for Lyric never left.
I love Quinn. He's a bit clueless on one pretty big issue but you'll have to read this one to find out what that's about. I enjoyed the idea of a set of twins caring for the same girl, though Oliver only ever saw Lyric as a friend. Lyric is a little silly for me. She did one thing that I just couldn't really wrap my head around. That's okay because I'm not her but it made it hard for me to understand why.
The story flowed will with one little surprise. I was able to guess the rest but it didn't take away from the fact that I really did enjoy reading about these two. I certainly was cheering for them. I wanted to shake each of them at different times. Lyric was too tied to the attention seeking bad behavior of Quinn's past and Quinn may have over reacted about...um something. BUT both of those things are real, which this story feels.
If you like the adult contemporary scene, then this one is certainly worth your time.
