I'm new to Follow Friday although I've read them for a while on a lot of great blogs out there.
Question: Genre Wars! What's your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite?
To answer this question, I have to admit that I love Twilight. Yes I do. My favorite genre is Paranormal romance and Twilight was the first book that I read in this genre. After reading it in a matter of hours, I ran to get the rest of the series and then spent a long time looking for something that was in the same genre.
My next great find was The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare. From there I discovered goodreads.com and then twitter. Soon I had more paranormal romance books then I could read. So my next step was this blog. I'm coming up on my 6 month bloganniversary and things may be out of control.
But it's all good!
I'm all about the books and I enjoy reading.
So what's your favorite genre and what book started it?
Hi
ReplyDeleteFollowing through from Parajunkee's. I prefer UF to PNR mostly - but there are exceptions, especially Twilight :)

You're the second person I've seen who admitted out loud (ok, not technically out loud, but you know what I mean LOL) that they liked twilight. I will now give you a round of applause for being so gutsy and awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe Mortal Instruments series was a-maz-ing. I've been reading forever. Since I was in the womb practically.

Happy Hopping!
I am a huge Twilight and Mortal Instruments fan!! Twilight was the first paranormal romance that I read and it inspired me to explore the genre further. My favorite now is Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress series, Halfway to the Grave is the first book in that series :)
