THE STRUGGLE SYNOPSIS
A bloody path has been chosen…
The war against the Titans continues, and they remain determined to wreak havoc on the world, but Seth has become something all gods fear. Now the most dangerous, most absolute power no longer resides in those who have been freed from their tombs.
The Great War fought by the few is coming…
All may doubt and fear what Seth has become. All except the one woman who might be his final chance at redemption. Josie will do anything to prove that Seth is on their side, but fate has a nasty way of changing lives, of changing people.
In the end, the sun will fall…
The only way they can save the future and save themselves is by facing the unknown together. It will take more than trust and faith. It will take love and the kind of strength not easily broken. No matter what, their lives will never be the same.
For what the gods have feared has come to pass. The end of the old is here and the beginning of the new has been ushered in…

I think if anyone had asked me before I read the Covenant and Titan series who my favorite Greek God way, I'd have said Poseidon. I loved the whole water thing he has going AND truthfully, I loved the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan.
But now? Well this series changed things, didn't it.
Now my favorite is the sun God, Apollo!
Apollo, Greek God of the Sun, The Light, the Music and the Prophecy.
Name(s): Apollo, Aegletes, Phoebus, Phanaeus, Hilius
Rules: Music, Poetry, Art, Oracles, Archery, Plague, Medicine, Sun, Light and Knowlege
Symbols: Lyre, Laurel wreath, Python, Raven, Bow and arrows
Sacred animals: Wolf, Dolphin
Parents: Zeus and Leto
Siblings: Artemis
Children: Asclepius, Troilus, Aristaeus, Orpheus
Facts sourced from Greek Gods & Goddesses
Yes, yes,...all of that is interesting but what really made me love him was The Covenant Series. JLAs interruption of Apollo is much more interesting than the Greeks views on him.
***Spoiler Alert***
If you haven't read The Covenant Series (*gasps* say what?) don't read the next part!
As Leon...
Leon, the King of Impeccable Timing, glared at me. "You are in need of a professional babysitter." (Deity)
When I looked up, Leon was gone. Shaking my head, I went over to one of the marble benches and sat. I had no idea how Leon could move such a massive body around so quietly and fast. The ground should tremble in his wake. (Deity)
And I truly believed that Telly was behind the compulsion that'd been used on my the night I almost turned into a human Popsicle. If Leon hadn't found me, I'd have frozen to death. (Deity)
A second later, there was a knock on my door and a booming voice. "Alexandria?" Seth stilled above me, panting. "You have got to be freaking kidding me." Leon knocked again. "Alexandria, I know you're in there." Dazed, I blinked several times. The room slowly came back into focus as did Seth's disgruntled expression. I almost laughed, except I felt...off. "You better answer him, angel, before he barges in here." (Deity)
It sounded lame, but it was like the old times, before everything got so incredibly screwed up. Sometimes Leon popped in on us. He never seemed surprised or suspicious. Not even the last time, when we'd been sitting with our backs against the wall, arguing about whether or not ghosts existed. (Deity)
As Apollo...
I jumped, smacking my hand off my chest. Apollo sat on the edge of the toilet seat, one leg crossed over the other..."Oh, my gods," I said. "Seriously. Are you trying to kill me again by giving me a heart attack?" (Deity)
"She should be kept as far away from Lucian's hours as possible," Apollo said, appearing out of nowhere. Several of the Guards backed off, eyes wide and faces pale. Apollo grinned at them. "Anywhere Seth will be, I suggest Alexandria should not be." "We need to put a bell on him," Aiden muttered. I pressed my lips together to keep from laughing. (Deity)
There was a part of me that kept expecting the gods to zap on of us for finally breaking all the rules. So when Apollo popped in on our fourth round of Scrabble, I about had a heart attack. "Gods!" I clutched my chest. "Can you stop doing that?" (Deity)
AND that was just ONE book in the Covenant series.
Then you add it all the Apollo time in the Titan series!
He occasionally makes me mad...he did that a lot in The Struggle. I won't give you reasons, since they are way to spoilery. BUT I get him. He loves Alex. He loves Josie. He tries more than the other Gods do. But, of course, that is the JLA version of Apollo and he's the one I love!
What about you? Have a favorite Greet God??
