“I think, in time, you’ll either be my greatest mistake or my greatest victory.”
Former witch hunter Elizabeth Grey is hiding within the magically protected village of Harrow, evading the price put on her head by Lord Blackwell, the usurper king of Anglia. Their last encounter left Blackwell ruined, but his thirst for power grows stronger every day. He’s readying for a war against those who would resist his rule—namely Elizabeth and the witches and wizards she now calls her allies.
Having lost her stigma, a magical source of protection and healing, Elizabeth’s strength is tested both physically and emotionally. War always means sacrifice, and as the lines between good and evil blur once more, Elizabeth must decide just how far she’ll go to save those she loves.

I love reading sci-fi, especially about wizards and witches!
ReplyDeleteIt's about witches.
ReplyDeleteI love stories with Witches! Thank you
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great story about witches.
ReplyDeleteI love the promise of a strong and smart female main character. This sounds like much external and interanl conflict to keep me reading.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds interesting. While I need to read the first book, I'd love to see how the main character deals with the loss of her source of protection and healing.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like an intriguing read. Not my usual read, would enjoy reading a differet type of book.

ReplyDeleteI like stories where the character needs to rely on their own inner strength rather than just being super powerful. When you are perfect, things are easy. When your not and you still manage to carry on - now, that's a story.
ReplyDeleteI love the premise! Witches, wizards, and magic always sucker me in.
ReplyDeleteJust realized I still need to read the first one (have the ebook, just have a Lot of to-reads), but sounds interesting!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a book that pulls you in and it also sounds like the story isn't finished. I need to see if there's another after this one.
