As for my fave under-the-sea book, I think it has to be Lies Beneath. I LOVED that book, though I've only ever read 2 books that included under-the-sea stories this one included.
I have to expand my horizons huh?

ReplyDeleteI just recently read Monstrous Beauty and that was fantastic. Also Wake by Amanda Hocking was a great one. Still, nothing beats the original The Little Mermaid though.

ReplyDeleteThat would be Everblue by Brenda Pandos. A very refreshing tale about mermaids, one that I absolutely loved reading.

I have only read children's under the sea books, but this sounds awesome.
My favorite is this ebook on amazon which I downloaded onto my kindle. Its called Tangled Tides (The sea monster memoirs) by Karen Amanda Hooper. Its like about a war between mermaids and selkies. That was the first book i ever read with selkies and its really good!!

ReplyDeleteI haven't read many under the sea related books, or sea related in general. I did read 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea earlier in the year and enjoyed that one quite a bit. Too bad the question wasn't "over the sea" books. Treasure Island is a GREAT one ;)
