Teaser Tuesday 5/8/12

This is a weekly bookish meme is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading.

To participate you:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
(Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This weeks teaser comes from Queen of the Dead (a Ghost and the Goth Novel) by Stacey Kade.

"You suck the fun out of everything," she said to me.  It wasn't my rule, just a rule of existence here, but I knew she hated being reminded of it.  "Everything?" I asked, taking in her rumpled hair and the way her lips still looked puffier than usual, thanks to our kissing session." Page 11-12

  9. This is great - what a fun teaser. Here's mine from The Corporate Kid by Neil Shulman and Susan Wrathall, which is a humorous rags to riches story. You can find out more about it here: http://www.thecorporatekid.com:

    "One of the protestors spotted him. He pointed and yelled above the crowd, “Hey! That’s him!”
    “That’s him! It’s Bill Bradford!”
    The crowd thronged toward him like a strong wave in the ocean."

    1. Oh nice! I haven't heard of this one. Gonna check it out. Thanks for sharing.
