Source:  Received eBook in exchange for a fair and honest review

***Cross Country Christmas is proud to be a part of The 12 NA's of Christmas ***
12 New Adult Novellas. 12 Best Selling Authors. November 2013.

With the holiday season upon her, Jamie Foster is once again stressed about making her yearly visit back home to Woodfalls, still single. Fate intervenes in the form of Grant Johnson, a boy she grew up with, who catches the same flight while returning home from a business trip.

When a malfunction sends their plane crashing down on the runway upon takeoff, Jamie and Grant decide to rent a car and make the nine-hundred-mile drive home together. Ironically for them, anything that can go wrong does as they face one hysterical hurdle after another.

Christmas may finally bring Jamie the gift of love she has always wanted if she and Grant can manage to overcome a few obstacles along the way. Ho-ho-ho!

My Thoughts:

3 stars - A great "awww" read sure to put you in the holiday spirit!

Cross Country Christmas is one of those fun holiday reads that you can read in one sitting and thoroughly enjoy the snow falling on someone else. Hehe. Poor Jamie, she has way more than her fair share of bad luck and while I could see where it was all headed, I so enjoyed watching it. She runs into her high school crush on a plane headed for home and the holiday's.  Things fall apart from there.  But maybe that's for the best.  I really enjoy stories where the girl gets another shot at her high school crush.  This one was so fun too.  I found myself giggling along with Grant.

There is no way I couldn't love Grant. He's such a boy in a grown-up sexy body. He loves teasing Jamie and yes it's for THAT reason. Guys are so easy to read when it's not the guy you like, that is. But Grant was also a sweetie. He worries about Jamie as she went from one crash to another. He found ways to take care of her and be friends with her even when she was a bit hostile. Loved that about him.

The story is fast paced and I just wanted to read and read. There's this scene at the roach motel that had me laughing out loud, so loud and long that I got looks from my hubby. By the time the end arrived, I was just saying AWWWWWW.

If you love those sweet, quick holiday reads then this is one to check out.
