Waiting On Wednesday ~ 8/7/19

This is our version of Waiting on Wednesday but with more cuddles, books we can't wait to cuddle for various reasons.

What are we waiting on this week?  THIS!

All's faire in love and war for two sworn enemies who indulge in a harmless flirtation in a laugh-out-loud rom-com from debut author, Jen DeLuca.

Emily knew there would be strings attached when she relocated to the small town of Willow Creek, Maryland, for the summer to help her sister recover from an accident, but who could anticipate getting roped into volunteering for the local Renaissance Faire alongside her teenaged niece? Or that the irritating and inscrutable schoolteacher in charge of the volunteers would be so annoying that she finds it impossible to stop thinking about him?

The faire is Simon's family legacy and from the start he makes clear he doesn't have time for Emily's lighthearted approach to life, her oddball Shakespeare conspiracy theories, or her endless suggestions for new acts to shake things up. Yet on the faire grounds he becomes a different person, flirting freely with Emily when she's in her revealing wench's costume. But is this attraction real, or just part of the characters they're portraying?

This summer was only ever supposed to be a pit stop on the way to somewhere else for Emily, but soon she can't seem to shake the fantasy of establishing something more with Simon, or a permanent home of her own in Willow Creek.

Why am I waiting?  Oh, I admit that the cover drew me to read the blurb.  And, well the story sounds so cute.  So I'm waiting.  What about you?

Alien Tribute (Tsenturion Masters #2)~Swipe right for abduction~

Two minutes ago I was lying in my hospital bed, waiting to die of cancer, reading an awesome sci fi romance on a mysteriously delivered e-reader.

Now I'm in another galaxy, cancer free. The aliens abducted me because they want me to be a bride for one of their warriors. Weird. The whole thing sounds a lot like the story I was just reading...

Except the surly warrior who’s supposed to claim me doesn't want a mate.

Disclaimer: The authors are not responsible for any actual alien abductions that may result as a consequence of your purchase of this book.

*Releases October 20th, 2019*

Why am I waiting? I am such a sucker for this premise. I came across it on Facebook and was so upset to see it isn't released yet so I can't devour it RIGHT NOW. So now here I am, sitting here waiting for October so I can fall in love with this beautiful piece of brain candy.

That's what we're waiting on this week! What do you think? What are you waiting on? Leave us a comment and link us up!
