  13. Cutting for Stone. I know it was popular about ten years ago, but I just got around to reading it. I thought it was an amazing and well-written book.

  16. I found that I focused lot of my reading time of younger reader books this year. The middle grade selections were outstanding. I would say some of the books I read that were fantastic would be Beyond the Truth by Bruce Robert Coffin and Between Before and and After by Maureen McQuerry
