Bear Attraction by Jennifer Ashley ~ Review

Jennifer Ashley’s New York Times bestselling Shifters Unbound series continues as a shifter and a human are faced with the unexpected, undeniable pull of a bond

As the military liaison between the human Shifter Bureau and Shiftertown, Walker is often stuck trying to appease both sides—and angering both. So when bear-Shifter Rebecca is captured taking a run in a restricted area, Walker comes up with a compromise: if Rebecca helps him find a missing woman—thought to have been abducted by a Shifter—she won’t be charged and executed.

As a bear used to roaming for miles, Rebecca hates being confined, distrusts anything involving humans, and—worst of all—the strong and handsome Walker starts triggering her mating need. They have no choice but to work together but both Walker and Rebecca find it hard not to mix business with pleasure…

Novella

Walker is from shifter bureau.  That can't be good for Rebecca, a bear shifter.  But these two have tangled before when Walker was duck tapped and left for Rebecca to guard.  Yeah, she ended up a bear in that go around.  But this time, Walker is on her side.

This author does such a great job at taking a relationship from a previous book and exploring it good and thoroughly. Walker again in shifter town.  This time, he's working hard to keep Rebecca out of trouble.  She was caught running through the old airport and the new owners aren't amused.  What would only be a warning for humans, gets a bear shifter in all kinds of trouble. Racist for sure.

Walker is this tough guy that's been in the military and knows what he's doing.  He's just what they need to find the missing shifter groupy.  And he's starting to wonder if going home alone at night is what he wants for the rest of his life.

Rebecca isn't sure what she wants.  All the bears in her shifter town are part of her clan.  So, she'd have to consider a cat or a wolf as a mate.  Not what she wants.  The problem is she really wants the strong Walker.  And when a kiss is used to keep their cover, it unleashes the desire in both of them.

This one is short but packed with shifter goodness.  I've come to love this world and enjoy even the novella stories.  They can be read stand alone but if you love shifter stories, you should read them all.  I've spend the summer just devouring this series and have so enjoyed it.

Good world.  Good writing.  Great story.  If you you love those things and haven't read this series yet, you should!
