Toni Aleo takes over StuckInBooks!

Book Blurb:
Opposites do more than just attract in Toni Aleo’s latest Nashville Assassins novel about a very bad boy and the good girl he can’t resist.

The instant Piper Allen sees Erik Titov, she wants him—wants his rock-hard body, sure, but the strength and mystery that lies behind that superstar hockey jock demeanor, too. So when he sidles up to her at a bar and slinks his arm around her waist, she’s lost. What follows is the wildest night of her life . . . followed by inevitable heartbreak the next morning. And then, a few weeks later, a very big surprise: two blue lines on a pregnancy test.

Only a check to the head could make Erik fall for a nice girl like Piper. But since their crazy-sexy night together, he’s been trying to forget about her alluring body by falling into bed with every woman in Nashville, and it’s not working. So when Piper shows up at his house with a baby-bomb to drop, it doesn’t take much for Erik to suggest the nuclear option: marriage. While it’s supposed to be all for show, the second they say “I do,” the ice between them starts to melt into sizzling steam.

Includes a special message from the editor, as well as excerpts from these Loveswept titles: Taking Shots, Trying to Score, and Empty Net.

  1. I do want to read this but first i must come accross a paperback copy which will probably take some times( but it's on my christmas wishlist so perhaps^^)

i was wondering though if your titles could be read out of order, working well as stand alone or if you would recommend me to get book 1 first and then follow up the serie in order

    thank you

  2. Toni,
What made you pick ice hockey as the sport you theme these books around?
Looking forward to reading the entire series as soon as I can squeeze it into my large To Be Read list.

    1. Um, kinda, and no, I mean I have all these worlds in my head but no one is safe. If something happens I pull from it, I love this series and I think you'll appreciate my love for the sport. I stay true to it and know my stuff. :)

  5. This is my first time hearing about this series but I've read the blurb and it sounds interesting. Anyway, my question will be: Who designed the covers of the books in this series? I'm curious to know. The cover screams hot all over. Looking at it makes me want to lick it (ugh. i sound perverted). ;)

  7. I am thinking that none of the guys really fit my image of Erik but I guess I think that he is just a little more larger then life

    1. hahah, yeah, I guess add some muscle to one of them. He is a big guy to Piper but in reality he is smaller than a normal hockey player thats why he is so fast on the ice. I love the guys I picked but in my head, he is something so much bigger and hotter :)

    Thanks for the fun post!

  11. It kinda sucks I never got to see the Thrashers play while they were still in Atlanta. The city has had two NHL teams and we've lost both. I don't think we'll get a third any time soon. :/

I also didn't know the books were available in paperback. I'll be visiting my local B&N today and will make sure to order my copies!

  13. I loved reading the book. I haven't read the whole series, but i just finished Blue Lines and it was awesome. I don't want to give any spoilers but i wanted to pull my hair out when Erik would say the things he said, but at the same time i loved the characters you created.

  14. I also loved this book. This was probably my favorite of the whole series specially because of the whole plot of the story. I loved these story lines. I can't wait to read the next book in the series...I hope Phillip gets a sassy lady that will knock his playboy-ass from here to mars. I loved the chemistry between Erik and Piper, even though i think these picks don't do Erik justice, the one on the Toni Aleo page is much better.
