Waiting On Wednesday ~ 9/11/19

This is our version of Waiting on Wednesday but with more cuddles, books we can't wait to cuddle for various reasons.

What are we waiting on this week?  THIS!

This spinoff of The Replacement Crush featuring Amy and Toff is sure to melt your heart.
Shy bookworm Amy McIntyre is about to compete for a dream scholarship, and the only way to win is to transform from sidekick to the heroine of her own life. But that level of confidence has never come easy.

The solution? A competition coach. The problem? The best person for the job is the guy she's secretly crushing on…local surfer celebrity Toff Nichols.

He’s a player. He’s a heartthrob. He makes her forget basic things, like how to breathe. How can she feel any confidence around him?

To her surprise, Toff agrees to help. And he’s an excellent teacher. Amy feels braver—maybe even brave enough to admit her feelings for him. When their late night practices become less about coaching and more about making out, Amy’s newfound confidence wavers.

But does Toff really like her or is this just another lesson?

Why am I waiting?  I adore books about book lovers.  And that cover!?  Besides I adore the idea of said bookworm getting her secret crush!  Yep, sounds like my kind of book.  You?

B & E Ever After (Fairy Tale Quartet, #3)A contemporary Hansel and Gretel Romance.

Gretel, er, I mean, Gabriella Salazar finds temptation and desperation to be too great and breaks into a wicked witch’s—uh, that is—a pretentious, rich woman’s condo, only to discover she’s not the only one with a B & E fetish. The twist is that the mysterious, handsome Hansel to her Gretel who has also stolen into the same apartment is anything but brotherly, and the two strangers find themselves lip-locked before the evening is over. Now Gabby and her new, aggravating accomplice must get crafty and work together to free themselves and everyone they hold dear from a mad woman’s clutches.

But breaking and entering never ends with a happily ever after…right?

*Releases September 15th!*

Why am I waiting? Mostly because I adore Linda Kage's books. But also because I think this idea sounds fun and I'm always up for a good fairytale retelling!

That's what we're waiting on this week! What do you think? What are you waiting on? Leave us a comment and link us up!

  1. OOoh nice picks! Gotta love anything bookworm related! The second one threw me a bit, because I was like...Hansel and Gretel were brother and sister. Lol. I figured it wouldn't be that kind of romance and it was confirmed after reading the description!

Hope you both enjoy your pick once you get to read it!
