A SEAL's Salvation by Tawny Weber
Subject: Navy SEAL Petty Officer Brody Lane
Current Status: On leave
Obstacle: The one girl who was off-limits…
Where navy SEAL "Bad Ass" Brody Lane goes, trouble follows. Being run out of his hometown years ago for misbehaving with Genna Reilly—the sheriff's daughter—was one thing. Now Brody is about to step into real danger. Not the suggestive letters he's been exchanging with Genna, but the kind of trouble that can send a soldier home injured and broken inside…
Genna's entire life has been orchestrated by her family. The right job. The right friends. Enough! Brody's return offers the promise of lust-filled pleasures. Of flesh teased and tasted. She's not expecting to find a soldier with distant eyes who has secluded himself from the world. But this good girl knows exactly how to bring a bad boy back to life….
Uniformly Hot! The Few. The Proud. The Sexy as Hell.

The Characters...
Genna's dad has always protected her, looked out for her, and flat out run her life. She's put up with it for far too long, trying to keep the peace with her emotional mother and wayward brother but she's had enough. When the sexy Brody comes back from where Genna's father made him go ten years ago, Genna can't resist any longer. I don't think I liked Genna until she decided to stand up to her dad. She's twenty-seven and he's still getting his way. That is so not my personality but when she finally said enough I was so cheering her on. Her passion was obvious and the love she had for her badboy was true. I ended up loving her.As for Brody, I always loved him. From the minute Genna walked into that garage to seduce the boy I was smitten. So was he though he wouldn't admit it. Too much a of a badboy. I loved how didn't talk but said so much. I loved how he hurt for what he saw has his failure. I loved that tough guy in him that wanted to make things better for Genna even though she had lived the rich life and he had been abused. I loved him.
The Story...
What's interesting about this story is the holes. I really enjoyed how we started ten years in the past and then moved to the present. I loved how parts that were not really important to the story were not drawn out just make the story fuller. Instead it was sweet and to the point.I enjoyed the alternating POV. It was the most fun being in Brody's head. When he would like with this other brain and when he would be turned on- it was fun to hear him think.

The Cowboy And The Preacher's Daughter
Years ago, Will Cash wasn't interested in being a dad. So Marsha Bugler left town to raise her baby alone. But when her father's health begins to fail, she realizes she needs to return to Arizona and introduce Will to his boy. Marsha is nervous to face Will not only because she lied, but because she's never stopped thinking about her cowboy crush.
Will is shocked to discover he has a son. And he can hardly believe the changes in Marsha. She's strong, sexy and a Ph.D. while Will's still a part-time cowboy living in a bunkhouse with his brothers. What does he have to offer her and his teenage son? Will has a lot to prove if he's going to get what he wants and the family he never knew he had.

The Characters...
I jumped into this series and I still fell for the Cash brothers. Who can resist the brothers who all came from different fathers and have been written off by the town. Of course, I only really got to know Will while the others where just in the background but I saw their strong bonds and love for each other. And Will? Totally loved him. He's just learned that he has a teenage son. A little intimidated and not sure he's good enough to be anyone's father, I so loved how Will stepped up and tried. His own experience with meeting his father has been a difficult memory for him. He's not willing to let that happen to his son. Determined and sexy, this cowboy will melt your heart. As for Marsha, I wasn't as big of fan. She made me mad. Not only did she hide her son from the guy she was in love with but she didn't handle her current relationship with Will very well. By the end, I was okay with her but she isn't my favorite.
Loved Ryan. He's not sure what to think of finding out who his father is. But he's smart and when he figures something out about his Dad, he uses it the right was. I was very impressed with him.
The Story....
The story moves quickly and I read it in a few hours. I would have loved a little more detail in a few places but it was satisfying.Who will enjoy it...
Certainly anyone who has been reading the Cash Brothers will want this next brother but it also reads well as a stand alone. If you enjoy a feel good and make up for past mistakes kinda romance, then this one is a great choice.
