THE HEAT IS ON
When Rory Arish and his two fiery dragon siblings are run out of their ancestral Irish home, it seems their luck has run out—until they arrive in Boston and find a paranormal-friendly apartment building. Finally, Rory has a place to call home. There’s only one problem: Rory’s new lair has simultaneously been rented to an infuriating woman who is as stubborn as she is beautiful and will not leave ‘her’ apartment matter how steamed he may be…
AND SPARKS FLY
Amber McNally is a down-on-her-luck flight attendant. She needs this apartment, and not even a fire-breathing dragon with his Irish charm and scorching good looks is going to scare her away. Holing up in their respective corners, a battle of wills ensues. Who will be the first to blink…or give in to their off-the-charts chemistry and decide to make this unorthodox living arrangement a little more permanent?

I adore dragon books. Not as many of those kind of books though. What made you decide to write about dragons?
A.C. How to Date a Dragon from the last series did really well. It almost hit one of those prestigious lists. My publisher asked for more dragons, and I worked up a few ideas. My agent gave me her thoughts and a contract was made! (cue confetti and marching band.)
"Paranormal-friendly" sounds like dragons are known in this world. How did that outing work?
A.C. No. Actually the citizens of Boston are blissfully unaware of the paranormals in their midst. And it darn well better stay that way. Gaia herself is my snarky character who makes (mostly) empty threats if any of the paranormals reveal their powers to humans.
From the cover, Rory appears to have a dragon tattoo. Do all dragons have such a tattoo?
A.C. Nope. None of my paranormal characters have tattoos. However, you’re right…these tattoos have appeared on four of my covers. (Two from the Flirting with Fangs series…How to Date a Dragon, Kissing with Fangs,) and now two from the Boston Dragons series…including this new release, I Dream of Dragons, and you’ll see one again on the book coming in Sept. My Wild Irish Dragon.
This demonstrates the power of a cover! (Note to self. Must ask editor to speak to cover artist.)
Tell me why I should read this book.
A.C. Because, as Night Owl Reviews says, my books are “Pure Entertainment.” I think sometimes authors forget their primary objective. We’re entertainers. I don’t make readers work hard to understand my books. I don’t use eleven letter words. I don’t try to wow anyone with my brilliance. I want people to smile or laugh out loud as they sit in their beach chairs, relaxing with a good, entertaining book. And, yes. It is a good book.
