It saddened her that he was going away.  While she got on well with the other Kings, V was different.  She was comfortable around him.  The only other person who could get her to open up so easily was Sophie, yet around V, Claire was an open book.  More like she word-vomited everything, but she couldn't seem to help it.  (Kindle location 1498 of ARC)

I'm excited for this one.  Enjoying it so far and I love V!
