Sweet Dream by Kristen Ashley ~ Review

She's ready for the ride of her life . . .
Lauren Grahame is looking to reinvent herself. After leaving her cheating husband, Lauren moves to Carnal, Colorado, and gets a job as a waitress in a biker bar called Bubba's. It's a nothing job in a nowhere joint . . . until Tatum Jackson walks in. Lauren has never seen a man with such good looks, muscles, and attitude. But when he insults her, Lauren doesn't want anything to do with him. Too bad for Lauren he's also the bar's part owner and bartender.

When the rough-around-the-edges Tate meets the high-class Lauren, he thinks she won't fit in at Bubba's. Yet there's more to Lauren than meets the eye, and Tate soon sets his mind on claiming her as his own. Before long, the desire burning between them is heating up the cold mountain air. But when violence strikes the town, Tate must reveal a dark secret to Lauren-one that may put an end to their sweet dreams.

So this is the fourth book I've read in this series but it's the second book in the series.  I'd already encountered all the alpha men in these mountain towns.  But it was the first time I really had a lot of contact with the motorcycle aspects of the town.  Tate is a Harley man.  He wants Lauren on the back of his bike.  Yeah, it was an order.

It took me longer to fall for Tate.  He likes his orders and I'm not a follow orders kinda gal.  But I kept reading because I love this series and I finally figured this strong alpha male out.  He has heartache in his past.  Dreams have been crushed and loss has been experienced.  He doesn't really see a way for him to have the happy so yeah, this is who he is.  Deal with it.  I get that.  I do love him.

Lauren is pretty darn patient with this man.  Her feisty side does make some appearances but as she learns the pain in this man's past, she learns to take care of him and accept him.  That was sweet.  And while this isn't quite my normal kinda love of a guy, I do love him.  Not as much as the other men in this series but I still love him.

Of course, there's lots of couple time and some side issues that effect them a lot.  A serial killer is on the loose and that is driving some page turning.  A little boy and another couple's pain also contribute to page turning.  I did really enjoy it.

Definitely want to read more of this series.  There are still a few guys that need to figure things out in these towns.  So I'm excited to read more.  You?  Have you read this series?
