Waiting On Wednesday ~ 7/5/17

This is our version of Waiting on Wednesday but with more cuddles, books we can't wait to cuddle for various reasons.

What are we waiting on this week?  THIS!

In this new contemporary from YA star Kasie West, a girl who wins the lottery learns that money can cause more problems than it solves, especially when love comes into the picture.

Maddie doesn't believe in luck. She's all about hard work and planning ahead. But one night, on a whim, she buys a lottery ticket. And then, to her astonishment --

She wins!

In a flash, Maddie's life is unrecognizable. No more stressing about college scholarships. Suddenly, she's talking about renting a yacht. And being in the spotlight at school is fun... until rumors start flying, and random people ask her for loans. Now, Maddie isn't sure who she can trust.

Except for Seth Nguyen, her funny, charming coworker at the local zoo. Seth doesn't seem aware of Maddie's big news. And, for some reason, she doesn't want to tell him. But what will happen if he learns her secret?

With tons of humor and heart, Kasie West delivers a million-dollar tale of winning, losing, and falling in love.

Why am I waiting?  I really, really, really enjoy this author.  She gets the YA voice right.  Always want to read her new books.  And then I read the blurb and definitely want to read it!  Looks cute and funny.  Can't wait.  You?

That's what we're waiting on this week! What do you think? What are you waiting on? Leave us a comment and link us up!

  2. I STILL haven't gotten a chance to read any of her books yet. I do own a few of them now so I'm hoping to change that really soon. I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this one so I will be reading that one soon. I also own P.S. I Like You and The Fill-In Boyfriend too. Hope you end up loving this one!

  3. I haven’t read any Kasie West’s books yet, but they all sound really cute, so I definitely should get to some of them soon! This one sounds kinda like WINDFALL by Jennifer E. Smith, and I’m a sucker for contemporary extraordinary-circumstances in YA, so this one definitely is one I can’t wait to read. Great pick!
