Six Years Stuck In Books Celebration! ~ Day 4

We really, really heart Wendy Higgins!

Sweet Temptation (The Sweet Trilogy, #4)

Bad boy Kaidan Rowe has never wanted for anything—money, popularity, musical talent…hot girls—but seducing them is part of his duty as a Nephilim, slave to the demon Dukes. As the son of the Duke of Lust, Kaidan has learned his father’s ways, becoming a master of passion, a manipulator of chemistry. Disobeying his father would mean certain death. Thankfully for Kaidan, he’s good at his job. And he enjoys it.

Until he meets Anna Whitt—smart, feisty, and inexplicably good—the one girl seemingly immune to his charms. The daughter of a guardian angel and a fallen one, she makes him wish for more than he could ever deserve.

Determined to save all the Neph from their dark lives, Anna joins forces with Kaidan to overcome the Dukes’ oppressive ways. In the light of her affections, Kaidan must undergo his toughest test of all, a battle of the heart.

Sensual and swoonworthy, this companion volume to the Sweet Evil series, told from the perspective of the mysterious Kaidan Rowe, gives readers revealing insights into the true emotions that drive him.

  1. I like gargoyles. Getting a bit tired of vampires and werewolves. Also like dragons and reapers. Like shifters if they are unusual. Wish Bangs would write more of her dinosaur ones.

  5. I haven't read this one yet - would love to get inside Kai's head! And I love reading about the Fae, I feel like there is so much to explore with those paranormal creatures :)

  6. I don't really have a favorite. I love magic and mythical creatures of all types. Angels are my least favorite to read about, but I love reading about all of them. Each creature has its own magical properties to lend to a situation, and the creative potential is endless.

  11. I particularly enjoy reading about the fae and vampires but particularly the vampires in JR Wards Black Brother Daggerhood series.

  12. Vampires flood the book market but I get tires of the same old story. But they can be redundant as well. I guess my favorite is Danika Dark's series because it's a whole world of shifters, vampires, Mage.
