All You Need Is Love by Marie Force ~ Review

Received paperback from the publisher in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Hoping to take the magic of the island and move it to the mountains with the Abbot family, purveyors of the odd and hard to find relics of a time long gone by in small-town Vermont. Hope you'll come with me to the Green Mountains! Watch for the first book in the series in early 2014!

The family-run Green Mountain Country Store is cherished by locals as a reminder of simpler times. The Abbott children are determined to keep it that way—but their father has different plans…

When Cameron Murphy heads to Vermont to build a website for a new client, she imagines a more relaxing trip than she gets. After wrecking her car by colliding with the town moose, she meets the most handsome hero she’s ever seen. Unfortunately, her savior, Will Abbott, is also the son of her client—and he wants nothing to do with the new website or the city girl creating it.

For all Will cares, Cameron can march her fancy boots right out of town and out of his family’s business. But he can’t seem to get her out of his head. As his family’s dispute heats up, so does the chemistry between the two, leaving them wondering if simple is better after all—especially when it comes to matters of the heart.

My Thoughts:

4 stars - Sweet romance full of love, family & happiness

First Impressions...

I loved the cover at first site.  Living near the Rockies, I love the mountains.  They are my peace.  The idea of a story wrapped up in a mountain town sounds so wonderful.  I've never read this author but I'll be for sure reading the next one in this series.

The Characters...

I so love Will.  We meet him when he rescues Cameron from Fred the moose.  He's a little grumpy that Cam hit Fred with her car but he's sexy goodness still sneaks in as he cares for her.  And that's what he does - care for her.  From thoughtful gifts to rescuing services, he keeps her safe and warm.  What I really liked about him was how open and honest he was.  When he felt her tense or pull away, he asked her about it.  While their relationship seemed impossible because of her work and life in NYC, it was never because of misunderstandings between them.  That was such a refreshing change to a romance novel.  Will was the reason for that.  So love him.

I love Cameron too.  She's ADD and has a horrible track record with men.  Her father raised her but was never there.  The nannies and the money raised her while he was away.  She craves family but has made her mismatched friends make due since she really has none.  Until she meets Will and his NINE siblings.  She's just a great character.  I loved how she plowed on even when she had two black eyes from her encounter with Fred.  I love how she worried about leaving Will at the end of her stay but couldn't resist getting involved with him.  Together they are perfect.

The Story...

I haven't read this author before but I will definitely again.  I enjoyed the story.  It had uncertainty, sexy chemistry, great secondary characters, great family dynamics and all this had me turning the pages and forgetting to get up to pee.

Could I Put It Down...

I read it over two days.  It was just want I needed.  I've been sad over the lose of my puppy and some family issues.  I didn't need to review this one right now but I was looking for something I could focus on that would lift my spirits.  I decided to pick this one up and I'm really glad I did.  As I lost myself in the Abbott family and especially the love between Will and Cam, my mood lightened.  It felt healing to read it.  It was just what I needed.

In The End...

This book is a great romance.  It has some sexy hot scenes, a great story that felt real and the promise of more from the Abbott family.  It's a must read for the romance lovers out there.

  1. Characters named Will are my weakness... a lot of my favorites are named Will so that is really enough to make me check this book out. Great review.

  3. I'm so sorry about your puppy :/ I hope things with your family get better. Great Review :) Will sounds like a great character. I loved that he was an honest and open communicator, and there weren't a bunch of miscommunications in this story. That can get frustrating! I think the book cover is very pretty also!
