Everything For Us (The Bad Boys, #3) by M. Leighton

When it comes to passion this hot, it’s all or nothing.

Olivia Townsend’s wealthy cousin Marissa had everything a girl could ask for—a great job, a privileged life, and all the friends she wanted. Or, at least, all the friends money could buy. But one case of mistaken identity has turned her privileged world upside down.

An abduction gone wrong lands her right in the lap of the sexiest, most dangerous man she’s ever met. To Marissa, he’s an enigma, but one to whom she’s irresistibly, inexplicably drawn.

With him comes a new world of freedom and passion, of dark shadows and dangerous secrets, a world where nothing is what it seems—except for the blind passion that Marissa can’t escape—or maybe even survive.

 My Thoughts:

4 stars - The baddest boy of the bad boys, Nash will capture your heart!

So I'm admitting right from the beginning that this book started slow for me.  Nash is angry and scary.  I wasn't sure whether I would like him or this book.  But I shouldn't have worried.  I love M. Leighton's writing and characters.  Nash had some wicked bad stuff to deal with.  He needed to work through that.  It was hard for me, but there came this point where I fell for him.

I still think I love Cash more, but what I really love is Nash and Marissa together.  I wasn't a Marissa fan in the first two books at all.  But she's changed.  Grown.  The events of the last book affected her profoundly.  I was so proud of her.  She stood up to her old life, her old self and fought for her own life and her own choices.  The scene with her father was fabulous.  You go girl!

The hardest part of this book was Nash and Marissa apart.  There really is a good chunk of time for that too.  It was necessary but lucky it read quickly.  It brought about the wonderful ending that I really loved.

I was happy that this story was centered on the characters and not so much the legal issues.  It was there in the background but the story was very much about the lives of Nash and Marissa.  And, since they are both such complex and real characters it made for  a great read.  There was some yummy updates on what's up with Olivia and Cash too.  :D

If you are a cashaholic then this book needs your immediate attention!  If you haven't started this series, then you should definitely get to it.  It's a great adult romance with a little but of mystery thrown in.

  1. I loved this book so much and I was surprised how much I came to love both Marissa and Nash. I'm with you though, Cash remains my favorite of the two... but Trick beats them both haha. I too enjoy the mystery thrown in. Great review!

  3. Oh, I'll def be reading this one soon. I finished Up to Me recently and fell in love with Cash all over again. Nash is a bit harder to like, but I could see why he is the way that he is. Sucks it has a slow start though. Great review!

  4. Great review. Cash is definitely my favorite to. Nash is all kinds of sexy, but kind of scary to. I agree that the hardest part was when he and Marissa were separated, but as you said, thankfully that read quickly. I really like Marissa in this book and I'm glad we got to see her turn around.
