Celebration with Tiffany King!

Welcome to a month long celebration!

What am I celebrating?

This!

And it's gone up since then!

SO, I'm celebrating!

All month I will be posting interview and featuring books from some of my favorite authors!

Of course, there will be a HUGE giveaway to go along with it!
For every author that participates, I will add one of their books to the giveaway.  Every book will have a winner! This will be BIG!

Who do I have today?

Tiffany King!

I’m celebrating passing 700,000 page views on Stuck In Books and I’m so happy you’re here with me for that.

Congratulations. That is huge!

Hope you don’t mind me being silly with you for a bit.  Gotta have some fun, ya know.  Does it make me strange that I want to celebrate with authors?  It’s a bookish thing.

No, we'll all be strange together.

When you want to celebrate something fabulous, what do you do?

It depends what we're celebrating, but honestly, I'm pretty lame. My idea of celebrating is relaxing in a nice hot bubble bath.

My celebrating beverage is Coke Zero. I know, I’m weird.  What’s your celebrating beverage of choice?

I'm all about Diet Coke

I tend to hang out at parks with my one-year-old grandson for celebrations.  Where is your celebration destination of choice?

My family enjoys theme parks. We love Disney and Universal Studios.

I might get stuck in a book to celebrate.  Who am I kidding; of course that’s how I celebrate.  (Buying a book is the best kind of celebration!) What was the last book you got stuck in?

I received an ARC of Red Hill by Jamie McGuire. It was sooo good. Make sure you grab it when it comes out.

New adult books have become my new love.  Do you have a genre that you prefer to read or write over all others?

I've always been a big YA fan, but I love New Adult right now. It has been a nice transition for me.

If you had to re-write the three little pigs or the three bears into a new adult book, which would you choose and how would you do it?

In the small town of Farmville, there lived three little lady pigs. From the day they first met as piglets, they have been the best of friends. Now, twenty years later, their relationship is stronger than ever as they make plans to open a boutique in town called Curly Tailed Cuties Salon. Everything is perfect until a dark haired stranger comes to town. He is definitely not a wolf in sheep's clothing. This mysterious, hot tempered bad boy is everything a good little pig should run from, but just can't resist. When the big bad wolf makes a play for all three little lady pigs, a battle for the prize ensues that not only threatens the little pigs' friendship, but puts the entire town of Farmville in danger.

You’re building the perfect ice cream sundae to share with one character from one of your books.  What’s on the sundae and who are you sharing it with? Yeah – you need to explain your choice.

Emrys from my Jordyn series. I'm a chocolate lover, so our sundae would be covered in Hot Fudge and lots of whipped cream. Wink wink.

You have woken up in the middle of one of your books but things aren’t unfolding as you thought.  Which character has sabotaged the story and how will you convince them to fix it?

Tressa from No Attachments is a trouble maker and would love nothing more than to raise a little hell, and I'm not sure I could convince her to fix it.

You know my good news, what’s yours?  (What’s the new book/project you got going or any other thing you’d like to share with peeps).

I just recently signed a three book deal with Berkley Books. They will be taking over my New Adult series starting with No Attachments as well as two follow up books in the series. Misunderstandings, book two in the series will center on Brittni, and book three (untitled) will be Tressa's story.

** Recommended for ages 17+ due to sexual situations, language and mature subject matter **

Ashton Garrison walked away from a privileged life in order to hide from the one thing she's not willing to face. She knows she left behind a trail of pain, but in the long run, her betrayal will hurt less than the truth. She now has one goal: Live life to the fullest with no regrets and no attachments. She has high hopes that a move to new surroundings will provide the escape she desires, but what Ashton doesn't count on is how fate always seems to find a way to screw up any good plan. Sometimes, when love comes knocking, the pull is too strong not to answer. Suddenly, what she thought she wanted to escape from is what Ashton now wants more than anything.

Nathan Lockton has one mission: find his target and complete the task he was hired to do—no attachments and no emotion necessary. He's done it over and over again. What he thought was a typical lost-and-found job has turned into a life examining moment as Nathan is forced to deal with something he has always ignored--his feelings. Now faced with a decision, Nathan must choose to either follow his heart or complete the job.

Love can come when you least expect it. The question is: If the odds are stacked against you, how far are you willing to go for the one you love?

"Books provide the ultimate getaway for me. A good story is a vehicle that takes you to another place, another time, or another world. I love reading the words and letting my imagination do the rest. I appreciate and respect every author who has the courage to put your work out there for the world to see."
