Blurb:
This fighter is about to meet his match...

You might’ve heard of me, Shane Knox, the guy who rose quickly through the MMA fighter ranks, only to crash just as fast. No one cares about personal reasons when it comes to losing fights and money. I’m determined to get back to where I was. For you to hear my name again. I’ve finally convinced the owner of Team Domination to take a chance and get me back in fighting—and winning—shape. What I didn’t bargain for is the guy’s spitfire of a daughter. Factor in her two professional-fighter brothers who are acting as my coaches and the fact that my career hangs in the balance, and Brooklyn’s the last girl I should be fantasizing about.

The closer we get, the more I want Brooklyn. The stakes are high, and I know there’s a big chance of both of us getting hurt, but I won’t stop until she’s mine.

About the Author:

USA Today Bestselling author Cindi Madsen sits at her computer every chance she gets, plotting, revising, and falling in love with her characters. Sometimes it makes her a crazy person. Without it, she'd be even crazier. She has way too many shoes but can always find a reason to buy a new pretty pair, especially if they're sparkly, colorful, or super tall. She loves music, dancing, and wishes summer lasted all year long. She lives in Colorado (where summer is most definitely NOT all year long) with her husband and three children.

Cindi is the author of YA books All the Broken Pieces, Cipher, Rift, Resolution, and Demons of the Sun, and adult romances Falling for Her Fiancé, Act Like You Love Me, Resisting the Hero, Cinderella Screwed Me Over and Ready to Wed.

Received eBook copy in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I've always enjoyed this author and was so excited to read this new book of hers.  MMA fighter?  Yes please.  And I wasn't disappointed.

Before I say more, let me say that there is a boyfriend in this book.  A boyfriend that is far away and unimportant.  A boyfriend that brings some guilt but didn't cause my highly sensitive cheating alarm to go off at all.  So you're warned to not even worry about it.

I"m a very moody reader.  I've been on a serious paranormal binge and was hoping I'd get into this one but I shouldn't have worried.  I was so wrapped up in these pages that I never even considered putting it down.  I just devoured it.

I love the characters.  Shane grew up rough and in foster care.  He never really had a home until he landed in Tammy's house.  She became mom.  She directed him to a gym.  She unconditionally cared for him.  His 15 year old pain in the a$$ behind didn't make that easy either.  So when she got got sick, he put his career on hold to take care of her.  I love this guy.  Now he's trying to make it again in the MMA world.  Seems there's lots stacked against him.

Brooklyn has fallen for a fighter before.  Not making that mistake again.  She's an artist but her family needs her to fix the mess that is the books at the gym.  So she's home to help for the summer.  She won't be staying.  And she has a boyfriend.  She won't be letting the sexy fighter distract her.  It would never work anyway.  Yeah, keep selling girl and maybe you'll figure out it's a load.

The writing is great.  I was so convinced there was no hope.  My emotions sensitive about them and I just wanted a solution.  I love it when an author has me this involved with the characters.  I didn't want to put it down until I knew if things would work out for them.

The temperature is sizzling between these two and they are insatiable.  Plan on some serious sexy times with these two.  I wish I could explain how I felt about the time they spend together.  There's lots of it and it's yummy.  I guess I can say that I loved how the angst was handled.  It wasn't what I was expecting (in a good way) and I was just so pleased about how it all unfolded.  Well done.

This is a quick, yummy read that will satisfy your romance loving heart.  Don't miss the chance to devour it.
