Swoon Thrusday ~ 9/3/15

The fabulous girls over at YA Bound created this super HOT meme.  Here's how it works.

From the book you’re currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering.

Shout it out on Twitter with the hashtag #YABound, post it here in the comments, or grab the adorable button above and share it on your blog! I want to know & so do the chicks at YABound!

I've been re-reading parts of the Sweet Trilogy as I read Sweet Temptation.  Had to share some Kai!

Sweet Evil (The Sweet Trilogy, #1) by Wendy Higgins

Embrace the Forbidden

What if there were teens whose lives literally depended on being bad influences?

This is the reality for sons and daughters of fallen angels.
Tenderhearted Southern girl Anna Whitt was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She's aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but it isn't until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage and her willpower is put to the test. He's the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna.

Forced to face her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?

Swoon...

My hands slid from the back of his neck to his face.  I ran my thumbs across his eyebrows and over his cheekbones.  He watched me in the dimmed light, searching me.  Our heated breath turned to fog in the cold air.   Then I stretched up to place a sweet, soft kiss on his lips.  He closed his eyes and we lingered there with our lips barely touching.  (Page 416-417)

Yes, I sigh for Kai.

First Days (The Ghost Bird, #2)
First Days (The Ghost Bird #2) by C.L. Stone

Sang Sorenson used to be the invisible girl in class. As a new student to Ashley Waters High School, Sang hopes that her new friends will be the change she’s been craving and will make fitting in a breeze.

But Academy students aren’t there to take it easy. The high school is overcrowded and rife with violence. When fights begin, Sang will uncover the true reason the boys traded in their private school life for a public one.

This year, Sang will no longer be invisible. This year, Sang is a target.

The principal and vice principal are hot to take Sang down, and her own mother is determined to entrap Sang forever in her belief that the safest place to be is in the shadows. Despite this, Nathan, Luke, Kota, North, Silas, Victor, and Gabriel will discover Sang’s unyielding loyalty.

And they will sorely need it.

The Academy, supremely influential.

If you enjoyed Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard or the Gallagher Girls series by Ally Carter, you may enjoy this series.

Swoon...

He laughed softly, his deep voice seemed to reverberate in my bones. He pulled me closer and pushed his nose to my hair as he said, "Sang, baby, you're beautiful."

Short and sweet and I freaking love it. This series is my newest addiction, and it's going well. I finished this book (gaaaah so good) and am starting right up on book 3. Brain candy at its finest, y'all! *happy dances*

Those are our swoons for this week! What do you think? Do you have a swoon? Leave us a comment and link us up!
