Beach Reads In August Giveaway Hop

To me, beach reads are the fun, sexy reads.  The best fun, sexy reads I've read lately are the ones in Jamie Shaw's Mayhem series!

So I'm giving away any one book in that series!

  4. Must be easy to read. The beach is a place that is full of distractions and I don't want something too sad or scary. Preferably a funny, lighthearted story or a good romance. Too absorbing and I'll end up sunburned!

  6. What makes a beach read for me? A beach read for me has to be the one that consumes you while you're in the sun like completely absorbed in the reading but also something that you can leave for a moment, just to put your feets on the water and then yay go back to the reading. And yes, if it's some romantic story is 99% better.

  15. I used to pack my tote with historical steamy romances. Now I like cozy mysteries or chick lit. Something light and fun in case I get distracted. But if I'm into a serious story, I'll go for that one.

  16. While at the beach, I'd prefer to have something light, fun, and easy to read. I want to be able to pick it up and put it down multiple times without losing the thread of the story too much. After all, there are plenty of interruptions (and rightfully so) at the beach.
