Celebrating Four Years Stuck In Books ~ 1/30/15

As we continue our celebration, we have another great giveaway for you!

Last day of the 30 days of Giveaways.

Today, we have a couple of giveaways for some upcoming books both of us are looking forward to.

First up, this one from Colleen Hoover.

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover, a new novel about risking everything for love—and finding your heart somewhere between the truth and lies.

Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. Her goals are in sight and there’s no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn’t expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry.

For once, Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover Owen is keeping major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.

The last thing Owen wants is to lose Auburn, but he can’t seem to convince her that truth is sometimes as subjective as art. All he would have to do to save their relationship is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin…

And next, a new one from our Fav!

Fall With Me by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Eleven months ago, bartender and weird-shirt-wearing extraordinaire Roxy and Officer Reece Anders had a one night stand. Well, kind of. She’s been in love with him since she was fifteen, and he wishes that night they shared never happened. She’s sworn him off forever, but the past and future collide, forcing her to rely on the one man who broke her heart not once, but twice.

Her best friend since birth has been in a long-term care facility since he became a victim of a hate crime years ago, and the person who put him in there is out of prison and wanting to make amends with him and Roxy. She’s not sure she has room for forgiveness in her and when she begins to receive frightening messages and is on the receiving end of escalating violence, she thinks she knows who is to blame. The man who already destroyed one life already.

But Reece isn’t convinced. The threats are too personal, and even if Roxy doesn’t believe him, he’s not willing to let anyone hurt her. Including himself. He’s already messed up more than once when it comes to Roxy and he’s not going to let history repeat itself.

  1. I love the romance but I love when there is funny banter between characters

  2. I love the age group--usually college/early-20s. I prefer this to the older, married couples (like myself) that are in contemporary romance. I like that just-out-of-high school nostalgia. Thanks!

  3. They have some interesting and moving storylines with charismatic characters.

  4. I like the new adult gene because that is when so much happens in your life -- college, first job, love, friendships, heartache. It is the time that defines you.

  5. I really like the interesting stories, and the characters. Thanks for having the giveaway.

  6. The violence I guess. Not as extreme as adult romance, but not as cringe worthy as YA. NA heroes are just too funny.

  7. I enjoy new adult because it's geared towards a fun time in life. I'm a bit older now and I enjoy a quick trip back into time when I read.

  8. All of it. Age group, because I am that age, the love, lust, passion, rage. Everything about them is awesome.

  9. Thank you for the amazing month of giveaways. I have visited almost every day.

I enjoy new adult books because they're similar to YA but without the teenage angst.

  10. I love how it feels real, and close to many people who are going to college

  11. Everything! Just great emotions and a good mix of YA and adult. Excited to read both of these! Thanks!

  12. I like that they are always good for a great emotional read!

  13. I love the age as many characters are trying find themselves and get their careers started.

  14. i love the stories, the characters and how feelings are 'expressed'

  15. I honestly couldn't say, I think I just love a good story, and it doesn't really make a difference one way or the other which I prefer. I read a lot of YA and NA and some Adult so... I guess I just like a good story no matter the age group or genre. :)

  16. Yes! I am looking forward to both of these!!

  17. I love that is the kind of romance for my age: not high school romance and not "30s" romance, and that usuallythe charcaters have a lot of development.

  18. I like the new adult books for the storylines.

  19. I love the intensity and emotions that are rolling in the New Adult genre. It's more of college romance and beyond rather than teenagers in high school romance. Since I'm at that age, I can relate more to reading New Adult and it's more my taste. Thank you for this amazing chance! I'm a big fan of Colleen Hoover and Jennifer Armentrout so i'm looking forward to Confess and Fall With Me! :)

  20. They're more realistic and make me feel things I think I'll never experience.

  21. I like the New Adult sub genre of romance because it focuses on a time full of potential and new independence in a character's life.

  22. I love the little bit of extra maturity in NA books compared to YA books. It has that little something romantic that involves a tad more smexy without being a full on romance or erotic novel! Thanks for the giveaway and congrats on 4 years!!

  23. NA books are enjoyable for their often fairy tale like quality and ability to make me remember the good parts of being young, along with giving me some insights into the lives of young people today, which is helpful as the mother of a young lady:)

  24. There just a lot of fun and have great storylines.

  25. (Alisha Sienkiel in rafflecopter)

I enjoy NA because it is similar to YA but more mature. Plus it is the age group that I am in.
