So my book boyfriend for the week is...

Shea Adler

Taking Shots (Assassins, #1)Taking Shots (Assassins #1) by Toni Aleo

Elli Fisher has never thought she was good enough, let it be her job, her weight, her love life, nothing. That is until she meets Shea Adler. After doing a promotional shoot for the NHL team, the Assassins, she meets the hunky hockey player who shoots a puck, shattering her world.
Shea Adler was tired of the life he was living outside of the rink. The girls, the money blowing, the drinking, everything had to stop and it all did when he met Eleanor Fisher. He had never met anyone like her. She was feisty, witty, shy, and simply gorgeous. When he laid eyes on her, it was as if he was taking the hardest hit of his life into the boards, and he had to have her. Elli is a little skeptical of Shea, but he knows that they were meant to be together, and he needed her in his life.
Can Elli throw her insecurities out the window and love Shea with everything inside of her, or will she let a past relationship, and her family ruin any chance of her being happy.

Oh, Shea Adler. There are so many things I am absolutely LOVING about this guy.

He's an attractive hockey player who is SO good at saying sweet things. Great at simply THINKING some darn sweet things, too. He's nice and I am loving watching him fall head over feels for Elli.

Seriously, it's fantastic. Makes my heart feel all happy and my stomach feel all tingly.

I lovelovelove it!

Here's a little taste of the wonderful Shea Adler for ya...

He took a step closer, bringing her face up by her chin, "Elli baby, I like you, a lot, don't you get that?"

"I do."

She wouldn't look at him, so he put his face in her view, making her look at him, which made her laugh.
"Only you," he said sternly, as he held her face, "I promise."
She nodded once before he kissed her softly. When he pulled back, Elli opened her eyes, seeing his beautiful smile. She loved the imperfect things about his face that made it perfect. Like the way he had a scar by his lip or the one above his eyebrow. She loved the little bump on his nose that told her it had been broken a few times. He had only one dimple, but it was so big that it made up for the fact that there wasn't another one on the other side. His eyelashes were so long, they almost touched the glass of his glasses, and his eyes, gosh, they were so damn blue. He was perfect to her, and he liked her, only her. He promised.

Ahh, have I mentioned how I heart this guy? *swoons*
