To Professor, With Love by Linda Kage

*new adult romance*
**explicit scenes and language**

Junior in college. Star athlete. Constant attention from the opposite sex.

On this campus, I’m worshiped. While seven hundred miles away, back in my hometown, I’m still trailer park trash, child of the town tramp, and older sibling to three kids who are counting on me to keep my shit together so I can take them away from the same crappy life I grew up in.

These two opposing sides of myself never mix until one person gets a glimpse of the true me. I never expected to connect with anyone like this or want more beyond one night. This may be the real deal.

Problem is, Dr. Kavanagh’s my literature professor.

If I start anything with a teacher and we’re caught together, I might as well kiss my entire future goodbye, as well as my family’s, and especially Dr. Kavanagh’s. Except sometimes love is worth risking everything. Or at least, it damn well better be because I can only resist so much.

Review...

When the author asked me to read this book, I was like...um... You know I'm a teacher, right?  This kinda storyline freaks me out and I rarely even pick up books like this.  She assured me it was going to be okay.  And, since I LOVED the first book in this series, I accepted the book.

Here's the deal, Noel is over TWENTY-ONE.  His professor is only a couple of years older than he is.  Yes, they should not be in a relationship when she holds the power of his grade but it isn't any different than a relationship with the boss.  So I read.

And it was emotional for me.

I ached for Noel.  He comes from a really difficult childhood and he's taken on a whole lot more responsibility than any 21 year old should ever have to.  He falls for Aspen hard.  He risks everything.  He needs her just as much as he needs breathing.  I love him.

I ached for Aspen.  Her parents are jerks.  Pushing her through life too fast, she has a doctorate by age 23??  They don't love her.  They ignore her.  She falls for Noel hard.  She risks everything.  She needs him just as much as she needs breathing.  I love her.

Yes, this doesn't happen very often but I love them both.  They risk for each other.  They try to protect each other.  They are perfect for each other.

I loved seeing Mason and Reese a little in this book too.  I enjoyed them being part of the story.  But you don't need to have read the first book to read this one.  It can stand alone.  You do want to read them both.  I'm excited to read the next one too.  We met Pick and Eva in this one and I'm excited to know their story.

This series is very character driven and I love that.  Don't miss this book or this series.
