Teasers...

The words were dismissive, his tone arrogant, even cold, but the look in his eyes weren't.  She'd never heard of brown fire before, but it was there in his gaze right now.
Hot enough to burn the air right from her lungs. (Page 24)

It was amazing and sent more sparks of unfamiliar need along her nerve endings.  She wanted so much more than just a simple kiss.  Not that this kiss felt simple.  Decadent, delicious and completely addictive--his lips were lethal to her restraint. (Page 64)

Review...

I'm in the mood for these quick reads, under 200 pages, like this one.  Some yummy romance thrown in with a little scandal, lots of money, and the Crowned Prince of a middle Eastern country and I'm a happy reader.

Read this in an afternoon and I love doing that.  It speaks to not only a nicely wrapped up story but the fact that I was enjoying so much I didn't want to put it down.  Something else I've discovered that I really enjoy lately is the themed series written by different authors.  This is book one of a series all centering around a hotel chain, The Chatsfield, but by different authors.  That has my interest.  Indeed, I have downloaded the prequel.  It's FREE right now and involves one of my favorite themes, pretending.

I loved the characters in this book.  Sayed is royal and yet he falls very hard to his emotions for the beautiful Aaliyah.  Though some accuse her of less then honorable intentions, Liyah is respectable and kind.  I liked them both very much.  I especially liked how they had a hard time keeping their hands off each other.

This one is totally outside of my world but that's what I really enjoyed about it.  It's a total escape.  If that's the kind of romance you enjoy, then this one is really good.

  7. They have a different aura about them which makes them really intriguing. Plus they may be rich but it shows they don't have everything and it's fun to read them realizing it.
